Detailed Reviews
Me and my partner are currently here in room 323 and are due to check out today - we were a little concerned about location after reading other reviews but there was no need to worry! We rented bikes from the hotel which only worked out at €30 each for 2 days, bargain! And the ride to the centre was only 15-20 mins - it was so much fun. The staff were all brilliant and helpful and the room was Huge and spotlessly clean. It was so modern and the surrounding area had a handful of resurants and supermarkets which we nice to explore. All in all it was great value for money and we would definitely visit again!

Excellent experience
The hotel is very complete. I would recommend it specially for business since there are a lot of meeting rooms where you can do presentations, meetings, etc
Regarding the room, it was very complete and comfortable. The room had a big wardrobe, comfortable bed and pillows, table and chair where you could work and a kettle where you could make a tea or coffee
About the bathroom, the hotel provided you shampoo , a conditioner and shower gel and the shower was spacious. Hairdryer was included as well.
The breakfast was very complete you could have all types of food, veggies, fruit, eggs, cereals, meat, cheese, bakery…
Of course coffee, tea, juices were included as well.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Some extras: the gym had some cardio machines, matts and some strength machines.
The sauna was also good ( you have to book it but is for free as well).

Great location, breakfasts, views and rooms. You pay for the privilege but you do get free drinks when you don’t get your room cleaned & free sweets in reception to turn you into a big kid. Bar on 1st floor is good to chill out in, and decent bar food. Rooms aren’t huge and cost is the only thing preventing 5 stars

This is not a 4 star hotel, at best it is a middling 3 star.
I have stayed at other NH collection hotels which are also rated 4 stars which is why I chose this hotel and it doesn’t even come close to being comparable. It feels like a budget airport hotel, and indeed many airline crew do stay here.
The room was large but basic and you couldn’t open any windows. The tub was so deep I could barely get in and out of the shower without sitting and I’m an averaged sized woman (5’4). Equally the peephole in the door was so high I’m not sure how anyone could actually use it unless you were over 6 feet tall. Additionally, there was no plug in or near the bathroom or a mirror so if are a woman trying to do your hair or a man trying to shave good luck.
There was a coffee maker but no coffee in my room for my first morning. The key cards regularly sneered to be reset (two others were there when I was to get mine reset).
The location is also terrible if you don’t have a car or don’t plan to take taxis. It is 30 min walk from the metro and you can take a bus but it is only every half hour or less.
There is a reason this hotel is cheaper. I ended up leaving after two nights to go to another hotel.

I was here for a work trip and the location just isn't great at all. 20-22mins walk from the nearest train / metro station. The hotel do offer a free shuttle service back & forth - which I asked about at check in (on a Friday night) and I was assured this was absolutely the case.
approx 2pm on Saturday I ask for the aforementioned shuttle and get told 'This isn't available at all during weekends. I can book you a taxi, but you would have to pay for it'
Furthermore, I booked AND asked for a double bed, was assured this was the case upon checking in - only to go into my room to find 2 single beds pushed together!
Needless to say, this was a very disappointing stay and I will not be returning.

We decided to stay in the Amsterdam Zuid district when visiting amsterdam this year and chose the NH amsterdam Zuid. Polite and friendly staff. The rooms were quite big for amsterdam standards, and they were also really clean. Personally i would say it is a little far out from amsterdam central if you like to come and go as you please, but we were aware of this before we stayed so was not a problem. It was also really easy to get to central by bus/train, and the neighbourhood is quite a pleasant one to walk through.

It is in a quiet smart area of Amsterdam with bus stops just outside, therefore easy to get anywhere quickly. I felt very safe walking around late at night on my own. I along with many other guests were at events at the RAI centre and we got there by bus in 10 minutes.

Nothing big to complain. Room was good just heater was set very low and it setting reset every time you leave room. Second thing walls are little thin and you can quite clearly hear noise from other room. Breakfast could be better with warm food some of those were poorly cook.

we stayed in this hotel for three nights this January. The hotel was immaculate and the room was very spacey. Upon arrival we were asked whether we wanted a room with a shower or a bath which is nice to get the option! The hotel was huge but we didn’t use any of the facilities as it was just a base for our sightseeing of Amsterdam. We got an Uber into the city everyday which was around €8-€12 euros.
The room was clean and the room service was lovely too. Would recommend.

The hotel staff needs to be trained in good manners. My breakfast was interrupted by an employee who told me to go immediately to the front desk. They said i did not have credit to pay for the breakfast. I gave my credit card to pay for the city tax when i checked in. In any hotel you can charge things to your account even if the hotel was prepaid. Awful location, maybe they are used to deal with dishonest people in such an awful area. I went there just because my friend said she could get a kosher breakfast, something that was not even an option. I will never set foot in this hotel. They must have seen Anna Delvey on Netflix, but reality is that Anna Delvey would never set foot in that dump. 😂

The hotel is about an 8-10 minute walk to the tram stop. The no. 5 goes into the center of town. The other tram goes to the Amsterdam Zuid station, from where you can take a train into the center.
Not much to see in the area of the hotel.
Hi,
we do have early check in and also a luggage storage.
Looking forward to welcome you soon.
regards Marcel
