Travelling as 2 female 20 year old's. Very helpful staff. The hotel is about a 21/22 min drive in a taxi from the airport. Quoted by a driver 20 euros each but we paired up with another couple from Dublin and he charged us 12.50...More
Great hotel for a short city break. Located in a central location, the rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum and ice skating rink are only a five minute walk away. The hotel itself is very modern. the rooms are what you'd expect for a small city hotel,...More
The booking websites show ample and bright rooms in their pictures. However, the rooms are very small and dark. Also, using the shower would flood the entire bathroom, due to no barrier to prevent water from leaving the shower area.

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
