Although it is a bit further than other apartments we founded it very comfortable to walk the city and know all the different neighborhoods. I would recommend to rent a bike. The washing and drying machines are very useful if travelling for a long time. Alex is really nice and explained us all the different activities and places in Amsterdam.

Stay clear of this establishment, especially through a 3rd party booking site. They are very unclear on policies prior to booking & even change the terms after said booking. Incredibly rude customer service person. Take your $€£ to a friendly establishment, it will be worth it!

We had a booking issue before arriving to Amsterdam and Alexander found us a great solution. He is a very trustworthy and honest person !! Moreover, the hotel is nice and the location is ideal. Thank you very much Alexander.

This place is a really nice starting point to get to see Amsterdam. After looking at the very expensive lodgings everywhere in the city, this one was reasonable. Travelling with friends, we found this apartment clean, with enough space if you are coming on vacations and the staff really helpful. Of course, the stairs are steep and stuff... but it's... More

The apartment it's self was a very good location, however when we arrived it was not as expected, the stairs were ridiculously steep, particularly towards the top but thankfully I'm in perfect health to clumber up and down them. The shared shower and kitchen facilities were a joke, couldn't swing a cat in there, this property has a lot of... More

I came here on my hen party with 14 other ladies. We took up most of the apartment block and i can safely say we were all happy with our rooms. I think i drew the short straw in the attic as there was no full length mirror or a fancy TV like in the others but it was fine.... More

We arrived there during the autumn break. We were 5 students looking for a nice place to stay but not too expensive. We saw before the pictures but we thought that the price compared to the pictures is too good to be true but still, we booked it. When we arrived we had a huge surprise. Alexander is great, as... The owner is really friendly and reliable. The apartments are big, really nicely decorated and very clean. We were 3 couples, been there only for the weekend, and was so worth the money. It had a small open kitchen (we did not use it) and a very nice pateo. The apartments are very well located. Really recomended and will book... More

Excellent experience all round. Clean, comfortable and functional apartment and although we ere on the ground floor still quiet. Great location close to Rijksmuseum and albert cuyps market. Alexander offers a nice personal touch himself with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates FOC. Highly recomended.

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
