The beds had wheels, so they would move around. Lipstick on the walls that has not been cleaned. They did not replace all of the towels, just some. The breakfast tasted horrible. English breakfast that I'm pretty sure was microwaved. We had to pay 15 euros extra for this sloppy breakfast. There were also bugs in the bedroom. Plus side: great dinner. There were free bikes to use, and the reception people were nice and helpful. Therefore not 1 star, but 2 stars. The hotel shortcomings did not come from the niceness of its staff but from the poor facilities.
Good friendly service and helpful staff - not near to any local shops, restaurants but conveniently located for access to motorway system. Restaurant closed for large group when we were there but normally open every evening except Sunday.
We stayed for 4 nights just before Easter while visiting roller coaster parks in the area. Although there was an International Junior Squash Tournament being held in the area which meant we couldn't use the restaurant in the evening, we managed OK. McDonald is a 5 minute drive away and we bought food from supermarkets while we were out. Our room and bathroom were very clean, coffee and biscuits topped up daily (Thanks Claudia) and we found the room to be warm and comfortable and met our needs. My son is a very messy person but beds were made each day too. There were also plenty of items for a substantial breakfast that set us up for the day. We would like to nominate Stafan for employee of the month as he was polite and helpful each time we met him and advised us to avoid the city due to a football match taking place. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.…
Room 102, was absolutely freezing despite the fact that the radiator was on to the max. Something is not right with the water system because the carpet is very wet in the room after you take a shower.
Staff was really rude. Only stefan was ok. Rest all are in front desk and service were unprofessional. Hotel location is also not good. Its on outskirts of the eindhoven. You can not find any taxi or uber on that route. Really disappointed with hotel service and the staff.
Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The staff was super friendly, room was clean. Room was big enough, nice rainshower. Breakfast was take away due to Covid19. Was a big choice in items for breakfast. This hotel offeets great value for money.
The staff was very friendly. Checking in and out was easy. But unfortunately the room was not clean. There were multiple hairs in the shower and there was a bad smell in the entire room. I am allergic to dust mites and use medication for it. Unless the medication I woke up with swollen eyes. So I was wondering when was the last time the room was vacuumed.
Friendly staff, rooms were clean on arrival (only the remote could have used a dust-off) and the bathroom was excellent! We were pleasantly surprised with the replacement towels on the second day of our stay, very usefull! We booked this hotel because of how cheap it was but did not expect such quality!
Reception and bar and restaurant area were great and modern and well air conditioned. Suitably laid out with sanitizers everywhere. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful when possible. Now the room!!! Well small and compact with zero air conditioning and in the 36 degree heat we have experienced this week with no curtains but nets and electric shutters, so we couldn’t even leave the window open comfortably at night for fear of being looked in on as well as the possibility of people reaching in for our belongings! We asked for a fan at reception but they did not have any! In this heat?!? No coffees or teas in the room just a baron kettle and no cups either? Stunned (but guessed due to corona) Nothing explaining this. So we bought bottles of water to drink but with temperatures the way they were they soon got warm so we asked down at the bar for ice!! It was given begrudgingly as they wanted us to buy drinks and not drink our own but with the weather we needed hydration not alcohol so that we could sleep better!! Three occasions over two nights we asked for ice and each time it was a difficult conversation!! I’m guessing management disapprove of free ice! Where as similar hotel groups would have ice machines available for their guests. Now the bedding and head board. Wow not pleasant. Stains that lead down the crease in the headboard and on to the sheets as well as bugs in the room crawling all over our bedding (but this could have been from the window being open the whole time we were in the room). The bathroom was not too bad until you turn on the shower and it fills up and runs out all over your bathroom floor as the drain did not have a significant run away from the edges. A soaking wet bath mat on each occasion, and there were more Showers than normal due to the heat!! We rented a cpl of bikes and rode in to the city centre and it was lovely. We had a great day our. Rental was only €12.50 per bike with a €50 security deposit incase you lose them. Parked them in the piazza and shopped then rode back home. Again the heat was unbearable but hey ho. Can’t control the weather! We moved after two nights to a new hotel where the rooms are temperature controlled and ice machines are accessible to guests. Great room on a budget. Not if the weather is freakishly hot like our stay but nothing spectacular. Would suggest the rooms should be brought up to the spec of the bar/restaurant in terms of quality of finish and spec then maybe this review could be better for the next time we visit?!…
A truly lovely place. Really friendly, helpful staff. We spent three nights here and leave today with a really good impression. A well run hotel, with excellent meals and very clean rooms and a lovely lobby. Minor drawback being the distance to Eindhoven town centre. Also I think fans of some sort in the rooms would help - otherwise any other criticisms would be petty. Thank you for giving us a wonderful break. We’ll definitely be back
