Very nice hotel and well situated, but our stay was ruined by a rude old man that works/manages at the hotel. He was blatantly rude to us due to a misunderstanding caused by the language barrier. Would have loved to come back to stay at the hotel, but doubt that we will return seeing that we were not made to feel welcome as... More

We stayed in an apartment through this hotel, Onze Lieve Vrouwewal 13. This is a 3 bedroom apartment over 4 levels. It had 1 WC on the main level, the lower level had one bathroom and then the very upper level/room had a bathroom. All bathrooms had showers only. The kitchen, living room, and WC were on the main level.... More

Situated at a cobble stone street in the quiet Jeeker area, this is a very nice hotel if you want to breath 17th century Maastricht, both imside and outside. Rooms are modern but with old style elements, the owner very friendly and breakfast is good.

While the hotel is a beautiful historic building, in an excellent location, we felt it was not really worth the money we paid for our stay. We stayed during a heatwave, and the hotel has no air-con: we had a big room for four but it had only one fan with a short lead, which meant only people on one... More

This is a very welcoming place in a 600 year old building renovated and decorated with great taste. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are impeccable, great bathrooms, and it is a very quiet location. The surroundings are very charming. I have been in lovely places in Maastricht, but none would beat this one.

We stayed at the Rekko for a long weekend to tie in with the Saturday evening Andre Rieu concert in Maastricht. The Vrijthof square is only 10 mins walk from the hotel so a good base for exploring Maastricht. We brought our five year old daughter and were allocated the three bed room. Room is lovely, with nice on suite... More

We stayed with the lovely Rekko family whilst taking my 86 year old father to the Andre Rieu concert in Maastricht. We received a lovely welcome and they could not have been more accommodating or helpful. Our room was perfect, spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, the hotel was always quiet and relaxed. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and suited all tastes. Can... More

My last hotel experience in Maastricht had not been a happy one, so this time my hosts found me a room at the Rekko. The space was charming, my room was bright and clean, the bathtub a welcome surprise (rather than a shower), and the breakfast well-prepared and tasty. My only quibble might have been the lack of a real... More

The place itself is decorated stylishly, and in accordance with the overall upscale feel of Maastricht. WiFi was included and worked well. Location is not the greatest--but Maastricht is small enough that if you don't mind walking you should be alright. The price of a standard double room was €120 for bed and breakfast. Their "budget double" room was €90,... More
