Reasonably priced hotel just on the outskirts of Maastricht, around 30 min walk into centre, but it has a minibus that runs to and from the centre every hour from breakfast time to 6pm. Rooms are fine and the food both in the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet is good. Only problem I've had was having to instruct the bar staff on how to make an Espresso Martini as their 1st two attempts were awful, and if that's the only problem then imho they can't be doing a bad job of things.

Good and pleasant stay for family. The room was clean and has all the neccesity that are essential. The location is good and there is parking for those who brings car. The buffet breakfast could be better and could be more generous as its a packed breakfast due to lockdown. Providing 1 butter for few breads is too little and when asked for more you only get one extra is a bit too stingy for the amount that we paid for breakfast. Small food items such as butter and Jam probably can let the customer pick up themself and decide how much they want.

We stayed as a family of four at the Novotel Maastricht recently.As others have said it’s more basic than you’d normally expect a Novotel to be.
It was also quite expensive but it was the Belgian Grand Prix the weekend we went and also an Andre Rieu concert.
The location is good and feels safe,there is a bus stop outside the front of the hotel but we walked into town which took about 25 minutes.There is also a large Albert Heijn supermarket about 10-15 minutes walk away.
We had an issue with the bedside reading light not switching off but a friendly and competent front of house lady came and sorted this out promptly so we could all get to sleep.
All in all a good hotel,needs a bit of TLC but I would stay here again.

The Maastricht Novotel is in a quiet location, a pleasant and easy walk from the city centre and railway station, and ideal for the Vrijthof square. Our room was spotless, spacious and well-equipped.The restaurant has a good menu and guests can eat in or outside in the attractive and well-maintained garden.
Above all, it is the staff that make this hotel something special; everyone we met was friendly and helpful to the n th degree. Hats off to them all, especially the night staff.

I booked to stay here for June 2018 for a concert however due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel due to the death of my partner which was unexpected. Upon ringing the hotel to inform them, they said sorry there is nothing we can do, you missed the deadline to cancel in which I replied “ i am sorry I didn’t expect to find my boyfriend dead”. They then said Is there anything else I can help with and then put the phone down on me. By this point I was hysterically crying. I offered to send the death certificates as proof and even take them down in person but this was also denied and the hotel refused to refund me. Eventually they offered to let me stay within 12 months as a goodwill gesture however there was no record of this when I rang to re book. I will never book this hotel again. Absolutely disgusting.

The 3 stars I give is for the hotel.
The restaurant is at best 2 stars.
For a Novotel this hotel is under the usual standard.
The rooms are oke, nothing special, but clean and the bed in our room was comfortable.
No free water in the room, which is strange for a Novotel.
The staff at reception is friendly enough, but seems inexperienced and made a few mistakes.
But that was fine, the problem was the restaurant.
The first night we had fish and chips here, but the thick layer of batter around the tiny peaces of fish was so greasy, that we left most of it.
We could have lived with that, but on top of that the (female) staff was very unpleasant which totally influances the admosphere of the place in a bad way.
The restaurant is at best 2 stars.

Initial impressions were poor having to wait in a queue for 30 minutes to check in. Allocated Room 124 which on checking Floor Diagram was significantly smaller than others. It was a very dark room with insufficient lighting. The carpet was threadbare, the fridge not working & the air con temperamental. Noisy due to being next to Service Room plus external door on landing being left open with noise of air con compressors. Oddly no hooks in bathroom to hang towels. No free bottled water which is something we get at every hotel / guest house. Whilst touring the Low Countries have stayed at 7 Hotels. Novotel Maastricht was by far the most expensive but the only one that was poor. Appreciate it was a busy time due to the Andre Rieu concerts but the hotel is of a poor standard. Breakfast was below average a positive being a male waiter who was helpful & always smiling (opposite to rest of hotel staff). Normally would have gone straight back to Reception to request a change of room. However whilst in check in queue others were told that the Hotel was full & no changes could be made. In summary we have stayed at basic guest houses with far better facilities. Recommend look elsewhere for accommodation if staying in this lovely town.

Overall satisified, but not happy about the fact that I could not pay my stay with my earned Accor points (I accumulated more than 35.000 points in the past). I checked one week before arrival with the hotel how this should be done nowadays. In the past I had to print out all the vouchers, which then had to be tediously entered into the system. I was told that this was no longer necessary and that my points account could be debited at check-out in the hotel. However, the system did not work. In order not to hold up the receptionist (named Charlotte) it was agreed that my Amex account would be debited. They would fix it later and then credit my Amex account. I was told I should get feedback in a few days. I checked out on July 23 and we are now July 27th and I have not heard anything yet ...

A one night stop over with a 20 min walk from the train station. Check in was easy, room comfortable enough. I would say it needs a bit more attention on cleaning and a fresh coat of paint would not hurt. I chose this hotel as the car rental agency was right around the corner and I was leaving early the next day.

We stayed here a few weeks back for the Andre Rieu concert.Some weeks before our arrival, we needed help with our booking so filled out the online contact form twice,but didn't get a reply from the hotel.
Really disappointed with this as it could have saved us a lot of stress and money.
On arrival we had an excellent welcome from the reception staff and they were very helpful with loads of information.
The hotel was clean and our room was fine,we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.Would have liked to stay longer.
Special mention to the restaurant staff,Appreciated the nice food and customer service.
Really disappointed with this as it could have saved us a lot of stress and money.

I paid €7. 50 In August and I also paid city tax which was €9.54.

I'm afraid I'm not sure of the answer to your question. We had only the one room. Perhaps the best thing is to check with the hotel if they have what you need.

Thank you for your message! Unfortunately the outdoor swimming pool is already closed because of the weather, we will open it again from the 1st of April 2015. There is an indoor swimming pool" Geusseltbad" in the area of our hotel which is opened the whole year.
