We stayed at the Hotel Britannique for two nights last weekend on our last stop on a European holiday. When we arrived at the Vrijithof square, the actual hotel was obscured by the seating areas set up outside which was jam packed with people! Once we had located the hotel, I went in to reception to see about parking our...

The hotel is situated overlooking busy square in the city centre. It has a large bar/restaurant tastefully deorated, evocative of yesteryears. There is no reception but the bar staff take care of your check in/check out. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a boutique style and very clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Outside the street is...

We spent one night here for business the next day. Location is great, on the main square in the city and downstairs is a grand cafe with terrace in front. Hotel has no desk but the bartender arranges everything. We had a room at the top floor, in the back. The hotel has some character to it, with various stairs...

Wonderful location, nice staff well appointed / furnished rooms. The shower was great - big and good pressure. Whatever you do, don't miss the breakfast it was fantastic. Parking is €18 in a nearby carpark but you do need to collect the entry ticket from the staff at the hotel first. They will also give you directions as there are...

Fantastic boutique hotel. We had a beautiful room at the backside of the hotel. The view at frontside rooms is very nice because of the view on the Vrijthof square and the Saint Servatius Church. However the rooms at the backside are very quiet during the night. Very comfy beds. The staff was super friendly. The (if you prefer with...

Visited once and have been back numerous times. Food is Italian tapas style, so you get a great mix of beautifully cooked food. The food is amazing. From melt in the mouth mozzerella, fried zucchini, scampi in saor and especially the home made pasta’s. The selection of wines they offer by the glass is outstanding. The service is always friendly...

It is comparatively small hotel, I think hardly 5-6 rooms and the rooms are big in size and nicely painted. But very friendly atmosphere and very clean and tidy!!! Well furnished bathroom, Very spacious. We stayed for a night only on 31st December 2013. Actually we arrived very late all the way from Reims and so tired after our long...

This small hotel (only 6 rooms) has one of the best locations possible: right at the famous Vrijthof square in the centre of Maastricht. You enter the hotel through the wonderful Brasserie with terrace on the Vrijthof. The hotel is above the brasserie, but suprisingly enough no noise comes through. Room no 2 is a big room, modern, warm, with...

Very friendly courteous helpful staff. Spacious (!) airy well appointed room. Excellent shower. View from our room was not good but probably just as well as it meant we were sheltered from the noise of the square (nice quiet room).

If you park nearby they will send you to the pay car park 100+ metres away. If you ask they will carry your cases up the steep narrow staircase. The room was beautifully appointed. If you return after 11.00pm (?) you have to enter through the back door in an alley! There are no facilities except the room & the...
