Let me just start with this - if you do not tolerate street noise and stairs this is not for you. But! We found this hotel to be a little gem in the heart of Maastricht. There are a lot of restaurants that line the square and lodging is above this particular restaurant - there is lots of activity from...

I visited it with my wife for one night. Hotel has very friendly staff and it is a very well place hotel. Our room were had a very personal style. The café-restaurant at the ground floor has a very cute "art nouveau style".

My wife and I are just completing a five night stay. The Hotel's location is very central .You can walk to all places of interest and the train/bus station. (Consider a taxi if you arrive by train with heavy suitcases) The staff , room , and atmosphere ....perfect ! Note: If going up and down stairs is a problem ?...

We have stayed on two separate occasions and loved this hotel both times. The rooms we have had are large with very spacious bathrooms. The bed is very comfy. The square outside can be noisy but the windows block this out if required. We paid extra for breakfast which was good quality - eggs cooked to your preference. Great central...

We are two middle aged, middle class couples that stayed one night at the Britannique while passing through Maastricht. We walked from the train station, luggage in tow, rattling over the cobble stones, to the bar/restaurant/hotel ... it is quite a walk but we enjoyed it ... wouldn't want to do it in the rain though. Our rooms were ready...

Last week we stayed one more time in the Britannique hotel. It is always a pleasure to stay there in one of the beautiful rooms with great services. We stayed in room number 4, which is a very big, exclusive room with an amazing view on the Vrijthof. The beds are from top quality what is very important for us....

Based on excellent reviews in tripadvisor and booking.com we selected this hotel in the city of Maastricht for a one-night visit during winter 2015. Unfortunately, the night we stayed there was very cold (outside -6°C). We arrived late. When the very friendly portier brought us to the room, it was freezingly cold, as one window was open. While we closed...

Very nice looking room but needs functionality. The bathroom requires towel racks to hang towels instead of us using the lamp shade. Found the hair dryer in the armoire. Form does not equal function in this hotel, but it looks pretty.

We stayed at the Hotel Britannique for two nights last weekend on our last stop on a European holiday. When we arrived at the Vrijithof square, the actual hotel was obscured by the seating areas set up outside which was jam packed with people! Once we had located the hotel, I went in to reception to see about parking our...

The hotel is situated overlooking busy square in the city centre. It has a large bar/restaurant tastefully deorated, evocative of yesteryears. There is no reception but the bar staff take care of your check in/check out. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a boutique style and very clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Outside the street is...
