A great hotel. My room was comfortable with a great mix of old beams and modern fittings and had a supremely comfortable bed. It was also quiet. The staff were all super friendly both at reception and the Grand Cafe where I enjoyed a good supper. Breakfast was relativly simple but coffee was was superb. The only hiccup was a...

Unfortunately we only stayed for one night. What a special place, inspiring history in the middle of a charming city. The hotel is located in the center but kind of tugged away on the quiet Martini plaza surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. The hotel decor is a beautiful symbioses of old and new, just sit and take it all in....

The hotel is right in the heart of the city, on the grass square in beside the Martini Tower. It's made up of several buildings joined together in a very elegant modern way. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We booked a Junior Suite and it looked out over the formal gardens which were delightful - probably even more...

This has to be the best hotel I've ever stayed at. It's history and the way each room is different gives the hotel its own unique feel. The restaurant is amazing as well. If you are in Groningen, this is the place to stay.

Fabulous location and ambience in an old building from the 15th century, very smartly modernized. Nice reception and downstairs cafe/restaurant area. Very friendly, efficient and multi-lingual reception staff. The rooms are all different, ours was on the second floor, accessible via elevator, with beautifully exposed ancient ceiling beams and spacious modern interior but rather dim lighting. Very clean and well...

This updated old historical palace is located perfectly for seeing all of downtown Groningen by foot or bicycle. The staff is first class always going the extra mile for the guest. As there are limited early morning trains to schiopol they arranged a limo for us. It was very reasonable and the driver was a joy and a real professional...

We stayed here for our wedding night and everything was perfect. Having worked with multiple hotels for visitors I can surely say this is by far the best hotel in groningen on all criteria: rooms are luxurious and spotless, location is in the city center in a quiet park, breakfast is rich, staff is great. One thing is that due...

This hotel is well located in the city centre, it has beautiful and well maintained and equipped rooms. Coffee and minibar are included in the price, the bathroom was in our case difficult to reach via a very small staircase, but a very nice bathroom. They have a very nice terrace outside to have a drink or something to eat....

This hotel is located as centrally as possible, just next to the Martini tower in the center of the city. It's situated in a very pretty old restored property with a beautiful garden. Our room was really spacious and comfortable. The bed was large with a soft matress (maybe a little too soft), there were comfy chairs, a desk and...
