A well equipped hotel, with a friendly reception, and a good restaurant with excellent service. Good breakfast buffet with attarctive opening hours (untill noon in the weekend) overall an enjoyable stay. The privilege rooms are a real good value for money

Nice hotel, perfect rooms. Unfortunately the parking lot was full so had to park outside which is a paid parking from 07:00 AM till 12:00 PM. Breakfast is a bit too expensive but nevertheless fresh and good, really liked the fresh orangejuice machine :-).

Good welcome from staff nice room not bad for the money just got a single room for to night you just sink into the bed which is very very nice the room is not big but not smal would I stay here again yes it's ok taking photos of the toilet not been flushed that's not good lots of extras... More

A group of 8 of us stayed in 7 rooms in this hotel for 3 nights. We had a mixture of privilege and standard double rooms, and one twin room. The privilege rooms were a little more expensive but worth it for discounted car parking beside the hotel, free minibar (soft drinks, beer, wine, nuts) and Nespresso coffee machine. The... More

I did checkin in advance and got confirmation of successful checkin. Arriving there, my checkin did not exist at the reception. Although I mentioned in the checkin that I do not want fast checkout, I received fast checkout. Although I mentioned that in the Invoice I want a different billing address and mentioned which it was, it has been ignored... More

We have been there from 11th to 14 th august! The rooms are very dusty and uncomfortable ! We changed 3 rooms trying to find a solutions but ... Nothing changed. At the reception desk, when I explained them that I'm allergic, they told us that would provide an extra cleaning... but, again, nothing changed (by the way, only one... More

Price is a bit above average but the size of the room, the quality of service/staff and the modern infrastructure more than compensate for it. It set up a standard that not many other Mercure hotels in Europe have been able to match so far.

The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. Top class shower.Nice welcome at hotel and they arranged for a taxi for us to go into town.Nicely located short taxi drive(€12) from centre of town.

Have been traveling in Europe for over 3 weeks and this hotel has air con that can cope with the summer heat. Many hotels struggle with this. Our room was not large but everything worked fine and was designed to fit. Free Wifi was fine. The buffet breakfast was to European standard. Ideal room for business traveller or single but... More

I had the pleasure of that staying at the Mercury hotel in Groningen for two nights.the staff were amazing and so helpful to our stay here. The food was amazing as well as the heineken as to be expected .I would definitely recomend staying here of visiting Groningen :)
