I used to stay here many years ago. Nothing has changed. The staff is great and very friendly. The hotel needs a lot of updating but is still a wonderful place to stay in Groningen. It is close to everything including restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this quaint hotel located in the center of Groningen. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Our room was a bit dated, but very comfortable. This was an affordable place to stay with a very nice breakfast option. We couldn't have been happier with the location. We found plenty to do within... More

A great hotel in the centre of town easy walking to all the shopping and restaurants. The decor is a bit tired and the room was hot ( no air conditioning). Staff very helpful and the breakfast was a good start to the day. If going in the summer watch out for mosquitos coming through the windows.

It's a nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of the city. Rooms are fine, but no Air Conditioning. It's really warm. Also, the doors don't self close all the way /self lock, so I have left my door not just unlocked, but open. It's a good value, but I'd avoid it during the summer months

This is a very nice hotel. Lobby is nicely furnished with sofas and upholstered chairs. We were in a deluxe room, which is a good size. However, we look out on a small side street and it is VERY NOISY at night. There is a bar within 100ft and they apparently stay open most of the night (there's no law... More

This hotels offers a lot of character which is really charming. The downside is that the rooms appear a bit tired and there is no air conditioning, forcing us to have the window open to the street where there was some noise in the evening. Large, comfortable beds and a good shower (though rather dark) add to the comfort. The... More

I really liked this hotel- friendly and helpful staff, cosy room and lobby, good breakfast. Stayed for three nights for a University conference. The Academy is close by, as well as the rest of the city centre. About 15 minuters walk from the train station.

Nice hotel in excellent location. Lots of cafe's and places to eat nearby, only five minutes walk from the Saturday market. Hotel has own valet parking which is handy as the centre is pedestrian or no parking only.

I stayed here for three weeks in July/August 2016 and it's ok. The staff are super friendly. The hotel bedrooms could do with a refurb. They are very dated. Bathrooms are from the sixties. Cleanliness could be better too. For this price range one would expect better. Oh and the WiFi is crippling slow, even if you pay your tenner... More

We stayed at this hotel on a business trip, arriving by car. You definitely need a satellite navigational system to find it. The streets are narrow and windy and the hotel is located in the middle of the old town. You have to use valet parking, there is no parking around the hotel. It looks like they turned an old...
