Hotel De Prince in Nijmegen offers you a modern accommodation in lovely historical buildings on different locations on the oldest shopping street of The Netherlands, de Lange Hezelstraat. Our Hotel is right in the city centre, in a pedestrian area. Our guests have a 24 hour access with their own keys to the building in which their room is situated. Above the various shops, rooms are located on the first, second or third floor. The monumental buildings all originally have typically Dutch steep and winding stairs. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights on a b&b basis whilst visiting my son & girlfriend who live in Nijmegen We had booked a queen size room with spa bath which was on the 2nd floor on the block 2 streets down from reception. It was a bit of a struggle with a large suitcase to get up the 2 floors as there is no lift but once inside the room was fine tidy and warm with a separate shower cubicle in the bathroom. With us only staying 2 nights we never got a chance to use the spa bath. Breakfast within the reception area of the Hotel was a basic buffet with several dishes of hot food and cold offerings - adequate for our requirements Hotel is situated in a quiet pedestrian precinct area and very central to all amenities in Nijmegen and a 12 minute walk from the Central station.

In the middle of Nijmegen city centre, this hotel/B&B has rooms of different sizes, all clean and modern. Entrance to restaurant/check-in has a different address than the rooms. Late check-in possible. Friendly personnel, great breakfast buffet.

Large room in central Nijmegen. We also had a small spot outside the room, where we could sit and coffee and tea fascilities. We had breakfast included. One could choose among different things. Also possible to ask the young kitchen boy for a fresh baked egg.
The room we stayed in was huge. Nice bed and newly decorated room with large bathing room. The B&B had a lot of rooms, so it depends on what you pay what the size is.
We had bikes with us, that could be stalled in their bike rental store, opposite the reception/restaurant. (Also bikes for rental😀)
The street is in the center, pretty close to Kronenburgpark and a lot of restaurants and terrasses. You can easily walk into the cafés, only 5 minutes walking.
Nijmegen is one of the oldest citaties of Holland, so a lot of historic places to go to!

Great hotel in a fantastic location with super friendly staff, highly recommended! We were going to Nijmegen together for a night, but at the last minute our 4-year-old daughter came along. We were immediately given another room with a bunk bed for our daughter, so nice! Beds were comfortable, no noise pollution and the breakfast buffet was really tasty and extensive. Our daughter absolutely loved it too, so we had a great time at Hotel de Prince!

Top spot in the middle of Nijmegen, where the car can be parked within a five-minute walk! Very nice small rooms, with everything you need & an extensive breakfast. The breakfast service had decorated the table for a family member's birthday, which was a great idea! The electric bicycles you brought with you were allowed in a separate room.

This is a unique place. You get what amounts to a kitchen-free studio apartment in 200- or 300-year-old building that’ll managed by a hotel-like front desk, rather by some remote AirBnB office.
You live roughly the way a Dutch person in a historic build does, which means weird (but modern, clean) bathrooms, lots of steep stairs, etc.
If you have trouble with stairs, you need to talk to the hotel people and make sure you’ll have an accessible room. My room would not have been good for someone with a big suitcase or any problems with stairs.
The bed was modern. The shower was modern and had good water pressure.
The WiFi seemed good and strong.
The view outside the windows was of beautiful old buildings.
The neighborhood was a lot of fun.
The river bank is a few blocks away, and that’s truly gorgeous.

We slept at Hotel de Prince. I don't recognize all the pictures on this website, I think there may have been a renovation recently, because it all looks neat and well-kept now. We had a room on the second floor, the narrow stairwell did indeed remind me of my student days, but that was the only student thing I can think of. The room was spacious and tidy. Bathroom with rain shower, good bed. Some big pillow to my taste, but nice and soft. Breakfast was extensive and tasty and the receptionist was really super friendly and helpful. Hotel is right in the city. KOrtom not to think of a single minus. Great base for day trip with night Nijmegen.

We stayed in this lovely hotel with our 3 children, we took a family room which was very spacious with 2 shower rooms . The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. In the morning there was a very wide variety of breakfast foods , some lovely breads and pastries and also cereals , eggs and fruit . The hotel is in a great location, near lots of lovely places for lunch and also the park and a 15 minute walk to the railway station.

The location is perfect. It’s on the highstreet but a really nice boutique style part of the high street where there are loads of interesting shops. We booked a deluxe suite as I wanted a kitchenette. Unfortunately the first room we were given wasn’t as advertised as it didn’t have a stove top or a dinning table. However the lady at reception was friendly and was happy to move us to another room. This room was large and spacious and just like the pictures. Note: you will get noise from the highstreet although it’s not particularly busy at night. However I always wear earplugs in hotels so not an issue for me. Bed was very comfortable.
I would stay here again.

I stayed with my son when we did the Nijmeegse 4 daagse. The deluxe suite was clean and spacious. It had a very silent air conditioning which was perfect! The kitchenette was convenient with a good fridge, a microwave and a Nespresso machine. I found the room a bit dark, it could have had an extra spot at the ceiling. Also, the room is looking over a lovely pedestrian shopping street but at night it is a party zone. If you need your quiet night, do not book this room! The breakfast was good and the hosts were very sweet and helpful! For the Nijmeegse 4Daagse they offer breakfast from 3am. Will definitely come back there!
