Luxury 5-star Hotel de Echoput in Apeldoorn is a beautiful designhotel and wellknown superb restaurant, in the center of Holland in the national park The Veluwe. Hotel de Echoput is surrounded by 11.000 hectares of forests, the original hunting grounds owned and used by the Dutch Royal Family itself. The Royal Palace ‘Het Loo’ is less than five kilometres from Hotel de Echoput and has been turned into a national museum. We gladly welcome you in our clean air hotel in the Netherlands. Hotel de Echoput offers: 42 luxury hotelrooms and suites, all with balcony or loggia and airconditioning, a famous Gourmet Game Restaurant, several private dining and conference rooms, and indoor swimmingpool. There are wonderful hiking and biking tracks. Hotel de Echoput is named after the historic very deep well, built under the reign of King Louis Napoleon, between 1809 and 1811. The well is famous for its sounding echo. The rooms are ready for check-in at 2 PM. Early check-in is possible in consultation, based on availability and surcharge. The next day check-out time is 11 AM. A late check-out is a great possibility to extend your stay and to enjoy the facilities of the hotel, based on availability and surcharge. Restaurant de Echoput is famous for its delicious game-dishes and lies amidst the royal woods belonging to the Palace Het Loo, in one of the largests natural parcs in Europe. The restaurant is modern chique decorated and has a lovely garden and terrace. Since there is a lot of game living in the national forest around us, we like to keep as close to nature as we can. Restaurant de Echoput is also wellknown for wine and food pairing, thanks to the owner Peter Klosse, who is the founder of the modern theory about flavour and tasting. New is our Multi-sensory Dining concept. Restaurant De Echoput celebrates its 60th anniversary. Restaurant de Echoput has private diningrooms for groups. Hotel de Echoput is a luxury location for private dining, meetings, seminars and conferences, weddings, receptions and banquets, situated in the center of Holland, Gelderland, easy to find (intersection highway A1/ highway A50) with a large free parking facility and 50 minutes drive from Amsterdam/Schiphol and the border with Germany (direction Arnhem). We spent a night here in a very spacious room with very modern but comfortable furnishings. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean! The surrounding area is forest and gorgeous! We will stay there again when we are in the neighborhood.

We feel very sorry that your New Year stay with us was not really as how you have expected it to be.We are glad and excited that you enjoyed some qualities of the room which we have intended to please our valuable guests with. We wish you could have let us know your needs for bathrobes so we could bring them to your door like other rooms. That to say, having everything pleasantly presented in the room for you was what we could have done better. It is a shame that the design of the sinks might have made your experience in the room a little uncomfortable. Same goes with our heating system as it was designed in a way that would be consistent throughout the hotel and hence, cannot be adjusted directly. But perhaps we could serve you some hot and soothing coffee and tea sided with gourmet sweets next time? As we are going through a transitional phase with the bar being refurbished, the Goes Wild concept and other important aspects, our wellness facilities are of course under consideration, too. In the meantime, we always have extra bath towels, mineral water and bathroom toiletries available for your free use at all times in our wellness facilities. We hope that the next time you come back, our vintage bar would be as indulgent and eye-catching as it should be. Our Goes Wild concept, which your game arrangement was a part of, is a rather a fun divergence from the rest of our hotel concept. It features the casual traditional Dutch hunting culture and cuisine with a slight touch of the vintage gentlemen-club feel. We are sorry that the dinner on your first night with our Goes Wild menu was not what you were looking forward to. But we are so delighted to know that the fine-dining experience of yours on the second night in our restaurant was rather enjoyable as it is, after all, our specialty. Your interest and knowledge in wines made us think that perhaps we could take the initiative to show you next time our humble wine cellar with quality wines that we have been proudly collecting over the decades. Perhaps we could bring to your table some complimentary hot and easeful coffee charmed with a crispy croissant and fresh butter next time? We understand how the silverfish was surely not a pleasant sight to have. It is unfortunate that once in a while, we are visited by these little creatures from the surrounding nature. For that reason, we tend to not interfere with the harmless nature, our most valuable aspect, so much and hope that our guests understand us on this as well. That to say, we are making plans on inspecting each and every room to recondition the “rookie” mistakes that we may have presented to our valuable guests.
