The cabins are located on the borders of a small lake. No doubt it is peaceful and a wonderful scenery. There are a lot of things to do around: to walk along the Oribi Gorge (awesome!), to try the splendid zip line and the suspended bridge, to walk or drive in Lake Eland Game Reserve to spot zebras, antelopes and...

Good morning, and thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Lake Eland. We know and appreciate that honest guest feedback is what builds a brand, and keeps our excellent reputation at Lake Eland. All of our accomodation is advertised as self-catering. It is unfortunate you were not able to bring the issue of the fireplace to...

Cozy accommodation in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect affordable getaway for the weekend or holidays. Sightings of majestic Eland and all kinds of buck. Set against the backdrop of the awesome Oribi Gorge. Their Giant Burgers are so yummy and filling and you have the ITIS throughout the night. Magnificent views of...

Good morning and thank you so much for choosing to write a review. Honest public interaction is so valuable in marketing. Our giant burgers (beef, chicken, lamb, steak strips and BBQ rib) are proving to be extremely popular ... hope to see you again to try the rest of our range!

We loved it here. We stayed in log Cabins on the lake, which was amazing. We had a wood burner fire which made the cabin very cosy. Great self game drives, lots of giraffes that are beautiful. Food is really good and very cheap. We also did horse riding and this was so much fun! The rest of the family...

Good morning and thank you for taking the time to write a review. Honest public opinion is the best and most trusted marketing!! At the beginning of November we gave our suspension bridge a full facelift - new sides, new wooden planks and new grip rails (it's actually a whole new bridge) so we welcome you to come and test...

This was a truly amazing place! Peaceful and tranquil but yet so much to do! The lodges were fabulous! Extremely well equipped and quite luxurious. We went on two game drives, did the zip line tour, walked the suspension bridge and went horse riding! The staff were helpful and friendly! Loved it!

We had a fantastic day trip to Lake Eland while visiting South Africa for two weeks. We were flying out of Durban the next day and it was well worth the gorgeous two hour drive to Lake Eland to enjoy the reserve. My wife was very hesitant to do the zip tours, but seeing that the safety equipment and staff...

Lake Eland is about 40 km from Port Shepstone driving inland. After a week in Margate I decided to stop and stay over in the gorge before heading back to Johannesburg. It was a great idea. Weather was beautiful and I arrived around 3. At checkin I was told about the swing bridge and the zip line and as it's...

Zipline is worth every penny and great coordination and care. The caves and swing bridge great fun for all to enjoy. Food is average but tasty...the children loved every moment of it and happy kids is happy parents. Rather order your drinks from the waiter than the barlady much friendlier.

Lovely reserve with many animals to see. Unfortunately staff didnt keep up to its reputation. Didnt get what we paid for. No shower in a deluxe cabin although they are advertised with showers. Reluctant to recommend to friends.

Definately worth the drive out and if you can spend the evening, do so. We stayed in the pipe dream which was very novel. Frendly accomodating staff and open every day during the week, in and outside of season with everything operational. Clearly this place does not subscribe to the same weekend only attitude that the rest of the South...
