Hotel du Theatre was a great little hotel, situated only a 5 minute walk from the station in Zurich. This was very useful as it made carrying large suitcases easier. The hotel was bright, clean and quirky with plenty of character! The beds were comfortable and the rooms were well equipped with all essentials. The staff at the hotel were... More

Stayed for one night, was a road side room which was loud, no AC just a window which you had to have open and a fan, booked a double room but was given a twin and when asked why apparently it was because they had upgraded us because I had complained about the hotel holding money from my account a... I stayed here for 3 nights on a recent trip. After reading some of the reviews I was a little worried, but didn't need to be. My room was 305... A single. It's a typical smaller hotel room but worked for me. As others have mentioned there is no air conditioning. My room had an oscillating fan that cooled off... More

This is a very convenient hotel just 5 min walk from the main railway station. The staff are very helpful with excellent English and a decent breakfast is served. However, you need to be aware that it is beside a very noisy road so you either block out the noise by closing the window or get some air into the... More

Noisy room, didn't get much sleep. Too hot , no air con and very loud traffic noise. Steps up to main entrance so hard work with heavy suitcases. Could do with a slope. Central to the old town and the station.

Lovely small hotel, friendly staff, perfect location for getting around Zurich. Is close to the main railway station. Had a lovely dinner at the spaghetti house near by. Will be visiting again 😀. It's doorsteps away from the old town where the atmosphere was great in the evening.

I was amazed when we checked in to find that there was no bell service. This meant three trips for me in the elevator to move our suitcases, carry on bags and wheelchair to our room.on the top floor. Our room was effectively in the roof and several times my head left impressions in the sloping ceiling. The location was... More

Stayed for 6 nights during a solo trip (vacation), it is centrally located on the edge of Old Town and has an active night life scene surrounding the hotel. Weekends it was a bit loud late into the night (1-2am), weekdays quieted down by midnight (I am a night owl so it did not bother me). Hotel was clean and... More

We stayed here for one night, we originally booked at a hotel from the same company but they were fully booked and moved us here. We had a room on the top floor that was comfortably and spacious, only issue I had was there were no windows, just skylights that we couldn't open, and I like to have some fresh... More

We booked this hotel based on a reccomendation from a website about travel from London to Vienna by train. It is within walking distance of the station. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Rooms are small and well decorated with decent showers and, for some reason, we couldn't turn off the lights in the bathroom and we had... More
