Zürich

On the positive side is its top location and friendly staff. However it is a bit minimalistic and outdated. Actually there is nothing special to it. There is a kettle but no coffee. Not so much detail focused management. There are a couple of better hotels in the same price range of less in the immediate area.

This hotel is nicely located in the old town of Zurich and the price is reasonable for Switzerland. The rooms are clean but a bit outdated and the bathroom is quite small, the shower not great. The minibar has a limited offering. The service however is very friendly, the breakfast is limited and not extremely fresh. All in all an...

I have been at this hotel following a recommendation from some friends. The hotel is very clean with a very central location which is perfect for visiting the heart of the city of Zurich. Our room N. 15 was at the first floor at same floor where breakfast is served, therefore, a little noise in the morning. The room was...

The room was lovely (modern and spacious, if we hadn't filled it with rollaways, children and suitcases), but not air conditioned (wouldn't matter in the winter, but not so great in August). Tiny closet space and no drawer space to unpack into (maybe they removed a dresser to fit us in?). Mini fridge generated too much heat, which wasn't good...

I highly recommend this hotel. Parking was a bit hard but probably not an issue for most and you're in the old town (should expect that). The room was nice size and very cool with different writers as their theme. Breakfast was great too! All within walking distance of everything.

My wife, sister in law and 3 kids stayed here for a night. We had a great time. First of all location, it is right in the middle of the old town. Walking distance to everything. There are restaurants, cafes, shops and bars in the immediate vicinity. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful from my experience with many...

The hotel is really charming and off the side street of old town Zurich. The front desk consist of one lovely person who is also tending to the little bar area - so if you are looking for a typicall chain hotel services, forget it. The rooms are very small but clean. I thought it was very overpriced, but I...

Very central location in Zürich's old town area - only a few minutes from Hauptbahnhof via tram, which stops practically at the front door. Rooms are small, but not cramped - facilities are somewhat basic for a "business" hotel, but not excessively so considering the price by Zürich standards. If you want bells and whistles, you'll find them elsewhere at...

If you are looking for a small, cosy hotel in the old town within walking distance from the lake you might want to try the Altstadt Hotel. This is in a side street a few steps from Limmatquai. I had a room on the 5th floor. I specifically requested a room that was quiet and I was pleased that it...

I stayed here for two nights on a trip recently booked by the conference I was attending. Nice location - very central to Zurich and a nice walk from the station, though there is a tram. It is a small hotel, small bar/restaurant downstairs and breakfast room on 1st floor. The double room I had was not large, but perfectly...
