I was conflicted between rating 3 and 4 stars, as there certainly were good things, however there was a bunch of things that should certainly be improved. We had privilege double room with balcony and lake view, and yes - you pretty much pay for the magnificent view :) We also liked complimentary coffee and snacks at the lobby, which was a nice addition a few times when it was still early for dinner but the snacks were just in time. The restaurant at the hotel was really good, and any dish we tried was always top. A few things that didn’t work well. We got our Riviera card, however we had to come back to reception in the morning as the QR code we were provided didn’t work - they could’ve printed the card at check in, as it was all a bit confusing since we were first time in Montreux. The heating in the room didn’t seem to work. While it was still warm enough so we didn’t bother, but generally I would expect the heating to work in case we needed it. The position of the shower was very awkward, it was in the middle of the bathroom, which made it difficult to direct the stream in a way that it wouldn’t wet the floor. And overall, the room certainly could use some renovation (mostly the bathroom). But the most unexpected thing was that the bar wasn’t open every evening. Though, compared to other hotels in the area, I’d say it’s not too bad of a price vs quality ratio. But next time I might rather get AirBnB or just an apartment for the duration of the stay. There are plenty restaurants and things to do in the area - you definitely wouldn’t spend much time in the hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights and fell in love with its location by the Geneva Lake, where one could take a stroll along the beautiful lake, and the train stop was nearby. The breakfast was better than many of the other hotels in our tour. What impressed us also was the professionalism of the staff. We had left our passports and money pouch in the hotel safe, and the staff had made sure that every dollar was accounted for when we returned the next day to retrieve our money.

Good location on the lakeside with a stunning view of lake Genava from your room. Not far from the train station but if you have luggage you have to walk a little bit further to find the lift otherwise you have to carry your luggage down the steps to street below. On the way back there have escalators provide. The room and furniture were a bit dated but still nice and clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. The front staff who took care of us when we arrived was very attentive. He gave us the transportation pass and recommended the attractions we should visit. Overall. Pleasant Stay.

We were greeted by a lovely young lady whom welcomed us to the hotel. It was a lovely start to the very first time visiting Switzerland! At cheque in there were some lovely snacks for the children in the foyer. We had a bedroom on the 9th floor, the lifts are rather small. Our bedroom worked for a family of 4. With my daughter (aged 8) on the pull out bed and my toddler in the large bed with my husband & I. Upon getting into our bedroom we had a lovely welcome note with a bottle of wine and some snacks. The only thing that really lets this bedroom down is the really dated bathroom. That evening we had dinner in the hotel which was superb, which was accompanied with excellent service. The following morning we had breakfast which had ample choice. I would happily return back to this hotel and recommend

This is one of the finest stay that we've had. The location of the Hotel is just fabulous. Besides the magnificent and beautiful Lake Geneva and with the most stunning promenade right below the Hotel, it is a fantastic place to be. The main front side of the Hotel gives you the Villeneuve View while the other side has the Vevey View. This isn't it, the staff is very warm and their hospitality is exceptional. They have unlimited coffee as there is a Espresso machine not only in the room but also a bigger coffee machine in the Lobby. There is also a popcorn machine that gives free unlimited popcorn. The highlight is the breakfast. It is grand and amazing. From multiple coffee machines to a live pancake maker machine, it has everything. There is also a live counter for eggs where the chef will make your omelets to order. Just a downside is that the bathrooms can be a little small for the Classic Lake View Rooms and there is no bathtub. We tried to get an upgrade using our Honeymoon card, however, the hotel was fully booked. Saving this, nothing to complain about. Montreux is just gorgeous and our favorite place to be!

Room with a cvrry nice view overlooking Lake Geneva. But the room AC is super hot even we have adjusted to lowest degree and blower max. Third bed is so small and located directly next to the standinc AC. And the bed is so hard. There should be much better hotels around here

We spent one night in a lake view room. It was clean and comfortable but the lake view was only really half a lake view because the building is shaped like a triangle with the corner at the lake front. We did not have time (or weather) to use the other amenities here. Parking is available to pay for on the street outside. We didn't have a problem getting parked within 100m of the hotel lobby. The Montreux Vivey tourist card came with the room, which gave us discounted local travel and tourist attractions for our stay.

Excellent location, fantastic views of Lake Geneva, friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful restaurant. However, as noted in previous reviews, the premises are really outdated and in dire need of renovation… That said, our room was clean and the air conditioning was sufficient to survive the heat wave we experienced.

The location was just less than a minute away from the lake side which is fantastic. The staff was kind and helpful. I like the afternoon snacks,it was amazing and parking area of the hotel was very secured. The drainage of the bathrooms, Banu and washer boul were not drain the water quickly. The bath rooms were mizrable, smelling, the bath rooms door lock not available!!! And not cleaned as well. The AC in the rooms were terrible and not cooling, the rooms carpets were full of water that its coming from the AC drainage because of bad drainage system in the rooms. One of the pillows cotton is out and the bed cover sheet was very old. The room lighting was very poor. The breakfast was basic. The elevator was very old but amazingly its working very well till today. I was in the room which is near by this antique "elevator"and i was hearing the elevator open door noise for all three nighs that i spent in this hotel. I already talked to the reciptionist about my issue and she promised me they will solve all these problems after completing the maintenance of the hotel
