We've stayed on a couple of occasions and it's been wonderful to see the very positive changes underway in this hotel. The rooms have been refurbished, the room (junior suite) was very well appointed. The bed was particularly comfortable. There is also a new chef at the Ardoise- the food (breakfast and dinner) was fantastic. The wine list is has...

The hotel is situated in a great location near the lake and also right next door to the train station. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. The rooms are very cosy and traditionally styled with very comfy beds and personal duvets. Really nice bonus of getting free travel cards for 24 hours on arrival.

This hotel is located next to the railway station which is convenient for sightseeing. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and although the bedrooms were extremely small they were clean and comfortable. The lounge bar was not very enticing, with unattractive furniture which was uncomfortable and did nothing to make you want to stay for a second drink. We...

Stayed five nights for a conference/family combo trip. Overall a reasonable hotel. Best part if location in a quite area near to lake but also next to a metro stop that allows quick access to all parts of Lausanne. The reception desk attitude was mixed, but certainly want to acknowledge Cedric for his helping and courteous attitude. Smallish room, as...

We booked this hotel as we like the look or the rooms and location. We arrived on Friday afternoon and our checking was faultless. Our room was a superior one with a balcony, it had a minibar (chargable) the interior was excellent comfy beds and a big TV with all UK channels on! We didn't take breakfast as the cost...

Hotel location is good nearby the Delices metro station. The hotel staff were all quite polite and engaged. The hotel itself, however, is showing its age and needs an upgrade (more visible in common areas). The room and toilet were clean and decently maintained. Breakfast was ok, varied choice of bread, some pre-cooked eggs, fruit, some yoghurts and a Nespresso...

I visit Lausanne 10-15 times each year and my experience is that there are better hotels in Lausanne for the price. Rooms are small. Charged CHF 9 for the hire of an iron!!! This is the first time in five years of international travel and 200+ hotels that I've ever had this. Breakfast: the guy was more interested in guest...

Dear Rob, I hope my message finds you well and thank you for your comment. Regarding our ironing board, it is the best but expensive system on the market (laurastar) that needs to be charged CHF 9.-/24hours in order for us not to lose money. I have immediately told the person in charge of the breakfast and he will improve...

This hotel must have been a great place like 20 years ago, now it needs a renovation. Nevertheless, the people working there are like exceptionally polite, very helpful. I had a nice room with a balcony, mini bar with the basics, the toiletries had everything even the shaving kit and a toothbrush you do not usually find in 4 stars.Pressure...

Dear Mr Lulu, Thank you for your message. We are sorry to read about your bad experience with our staff. You should have advised the reception when you checked out as it is important for us to have a feedback when this kind of think is appending. As the hotel is a small structure sometime the reception has to help...
