We have returned to the Lausanne Palace Hotel after 6 years and were travelling with our two kids 4 and 7 years old. It was such a wonderful experience from the room set up (with a mini tent) to the warm welcome it was both relaxing and luxurious at the same time. The staff made us feel welcome at every step of the way and accommodated our many requests regarding the childrens food with a smile. The concierge team was full of great recommendations for both kids and adult activities. Will return for sure and highly recommended to visit Lausanne Palace when staying at Lausanne. Magnifique!
Great Location, Beautiful Hotel, very friendly & helpful staff, great amenities! And the price was good too. Didn’t eat there except for breakfast which was really good. Staff mentions - thanks to Christian, Matthew our fellow Cdn, concierge ladies were very helpful, Monika at breakfast & many others sorry I forgot names. Will definitely we back again!
Fantastic service and accommodation. Thanks for helping us book train tickets to Milan and to Luzern. Thanks for lending an adaptor too and for the tips and pieces of advices on the best restos to try 👍 Will definitely pick this hotel again when I have another trip to Lausanne 😊
I recently stayed at the Lausanne Palace Hotel for business. Very spacious room, stunning lake views. The staff is always friendly, very professional and caring. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is very helpful and goes far beyond the ordinary customer service one would expect. The concierge team of Djamila, Christoph and Matt are both supper informative and had some great tips on how to spend my time in and around Lausanne. The view from the rooms is so nice, I found it difficult to leave. Great views of Lac Leman and the French part with the town of Evian. We took the boat across the lake upon Matt's recommendation! Fantastic, thank you! The Spa is definitely worth visiting, full size gym and good size pool to do laps with a sauna and steam room to relax afterwards. Have not had a chance to eat all three restaurants, but the Brasserie makes a great Vienna style Schnitzel. Overall, one of the best hotels i the country!!!
Just stayed 2 times in 2 weeks at the Lausanne Palace. The hotel is beautiful & elegant. The staff is very friendly & will do everything to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Rooms are specious, clean and the views of the lake are gorgeous. Location is in the pretty City centre of Lausanne. I definitly recommend this hotel!
This was truly the best hotel I ever stayed at. I was greeted by name as I stepped out of the car they arranged for me from the airport. I was escorted to the front desk for check in. They quickly helped me orient myself to the hotel services. My room was amazing. I had a full view of Lake Geneva and a patio to sit and gaze. Although I have used concierge services before, I was amazed that they all knew my name as did the desk clerks. Everyone at that hotel including restaurant staff and room service seemed to be focused on making my stay extraordinary. They anticipated my needs and made many suggestions for my stay and city experience. Housekeeping also stunned me by anticipating my needs and learning quickly how I like things arranged. My room was immaculate. Frankly I did not expect all of this when I booked my stay. I am usually pretty low key and never demanding. I think I rather fly below the radar in most hotels, however, the treatment I received at the Lausanne Palace made me feel very special without any intrusion and I am thrilled that I chose this hotel for such a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel.…
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel with a spacious deluxe room on the 5th floor which had a balcony with a spectacular lake view. So I know why Coco Chanel stayed in a suite on the same floor many years back :) The staff was very friendly and professional. The SPA was really nice. I especially liked the veranda next to the indoor swimming pool which has a lot of daylight and allows to go outside for sunbathing if the weather allows it. Also the hamam and sauna was much appreciated to recharge. The massage I've booked was pure bliss. Relaxing and very professional at the same time. The restaurants and bar options offered a nice variety and I appreciated the friendly and attentive service throughout. Even though the building is quite old they managed to keep it running in a very smooth way that it doesn't feel dated. It has been constantly renovated and still has a soul which is true to its origins with a modernized touch. It's a true institution in the heart of Lausanne. Would go back for sure! Only in the summer time I would probably still prefer the Beau Rivage but only due their outdoor swimming pool. The overall vibe at the Lausanne Palace is nicer and less stiff in my opinion.…
We had a chance to visit on the Easter weekend in 2022. We live in Switzerland and have seen all qualities of hotels. The Lausanne Palace continues to show that they deserve the highest ratings. The quality of the building, the staff and the facilities continue to be first class. This hotel just went through a full pandemic with limited business but on our visit you would not notice that the quality has changed - even with many new staff. This is a hotel in the center of Lausanne - and the property is a destination itself.
My favourite hotel in Lausanne because they take good care of us all. Great breakfast and AHHmazing Brunch on Sundays. Great gym and spa. Love the sauna after my workout. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel. Love the spacious rooms, the hotel hallways and lobby. Overall great customer experience
