We stayed at this hotel during our tour of the lake Geneva area, and we were very glad we did, everything was superb. Location - In the center of the town, 2 mins from Flon metro stop, 10 mins walk from the Cathedral and close to many restaurants and bars. From the metro, go to the top floor, walk over... More

We stayed at this hotel for nearly a week. The room was booked for us by the conference my husband was attending. It is in a great location, it is clean, and quiet, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are not fancy, but meet the basic needs. It was clean and quiet. We had a room with an... More

I have mixed feelings about offering a less-positive review, since this hotel was booked for me for a conference and I didn't have to pay for the stay. Had I spent my own money, I think I would have felt disappointed. Let me begin with the good points. The location is wonderfully central, with easy access to public transit (Flon... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Regina for 2 nights in May 2015. It's a nice place to stay - nothing overly special - but convenient to the sights and experiences of old town Lausanne. The staff provided all the help we needed, the room was of sufficient size and comfort, the hotel was clean, and the complimentary breakfast... More

We always ask for a quiet room and we make reservations months in advance. Upon arrival we were given a room that overlooked a pedestrian only street. The hotel does not have air conditioning and there was a heat wave during our stay as well as a musical festival a few blocks away. That night, until about 4 am, we... More

After climbing uphill from the train station to the hotel, we realized that there is a much easier way to get there. As suggested by another reviewer (which I did not read), the metro to the Lausanne-Flon stop, the elevator to the top floor and a short walk across the pedestrian bridge will take you almost to the door of... The hotel is nicely located in the pedestrian-only center of town very close to a major metro station. Although I took a cab from the station to get there (it could could drop me off with my bag at the back door), once I was oriented, it was easy enough to get to the station (and Geneva airport) by metro... This hotel is convenient to the city center and is reasonably priced for what it offers. The owner speaks excellent English and is very helpful. Breakfasts are fine. The shower and elevator are somewhat small. It is used a lot by business people coming to Lausanne. We recommend it unless you are really looking for luxury.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Regina at the tail end of our trip. We arrived in Lausanne by train, and the hotel would be quite the uphill climb on foot, so I highly recommend using the métro. If you exit at the Lausanne-Flon stop, take the elevator to the top floor and it will put you on a pedestrian... More

I stayed at the hotel Regina for one night. ROOMS: The furniture is very old-fashioned (in my point of view). My bathroom had obviously been renovated recently and was very modern. Room and bathroom were very clean! It was quiet despite the central location, but I could hear my neighbours talking. LOCATION: Perfect! In the middle of Lausanne's old town... More
