This is a simple mountain hotel with incredible views. It offers rooms with 2 to 4 beds and dormitories much less comfortable. Food is good. Staff very friendly. Some rooms have view over the Matterhorn. (Shared) bathrooms very clean. Hiking up was easy from Zermatt in less than 3 hours, small but cosy room with wonderful view of the Matterhorn, toilet and shower shared and good enough for a night or two, great hosts with simple breakfast. Beware, sleeping on 2620m above sea level can be tricky for some people..

This is a friendly hotel with good food for a mountain hotel, very clean bathrooms, very friendly staff (upon our request of cancelling a night they said absolutely no problem). We recommend asking for a room with view. This hotel has everything you want and more from a mountain hotel restaurant.

We hiked to Fluhalp on a somewhat blustery day and settled into the dining room with a group of hikers to watch a World Cup game and have a beer. There isn't a better place to end a hike. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, and the beds comfy.
