Please do not misunderstand my rating or title. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly - however there are not many frills. I didn't bring shampoo as I figured it would be available at the hotel- needless to say I ended up at the store to buy some as this is not an amenity they offer. The...

Stayed 1 night in a family room located on the top floor. Spacious room with large balcony. Large bathroom, toiletries provided and thick fluffy towels. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Hotel is situated 10 mins walk to the main shopping area and train station. 5 mins walk to the cable car. Taxi transport to/from hotel/station for CHF 15.00. Very helpful staff....

Stayed here for 1 night in Zermatt and had a great time! The hotel is about a 10-15 min walk from the train station and a few min from the main street. With 4 people we stayed in the "penthouse" which had a cute summer camp type feel. Sloping wood ceiling, log cabin like furniture and it's own balcony!

Went in off-season, staff accommodated our uncertain arrival time. Great breakfast - recommend you buy ahead - nice dining room and bar. Room had double and single and were comfortable beds. Room was nice and well-maintained. Great balcony with overhang that allowed us to sit outside despite rain. Fitness center was basic - no cardio machines. Really nice ski room....

Came up for ski week and found an amazing deal through Booking.com. As it was out first visit to Zermatt, really didn't know where to stay. I am so glad we chose Adonis. It is a quaint hotel on the edge of the the main town. The town really is small enough to walk everywhere so that was not a...

My family and I have spent a wonderful weekend in Zermatt at the Adonis. The staff is welcoming and always ready to help. This is definitely the greatest asset of the hotel, but not the only one : the place is 8 min away by foot from the station; the appartment is very big and can easily host 5 persons...

It is a very well located cosy little hotel just a few minutes from the gandola station which takes you to matterhorn skiing area as well as to the city centre. The rooms are huge for a family of 2 adults and a child, with extra bed. The staff is one of the best that we came across in switzerland......

The Hotel Adonis's rooms were rather small, but I have to say, they could not be any cleaner. There's a nice balcony with a view of a mountain (not the Matterhorn). Be advised, many hotels are closed in Zermatt in late September and October (their vacation time) so the selection was a bit limited. The location was fine and I...
