We stayed here for four nights in room 505 which had a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. The room was stunning with a huge stand alone bath above us on the next floor. Amazing breakfast with huge choice of buffet and also option of eggs etc and every style of coffee you can imagine. We were picked up and dropped back to the train station which was a lovely touch.. Staff were so kind and friendly, always smiling, we loved the cosy fire in the evenings and a glass of baileys, after we came back to the hotel before bed. We Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel.. you wont be disappointed., we will be back for sure one day. p.s The spa downstairs was fabulous after a long day hiking..
My husband and I stayed in October of 2022 for two nights, choosing the room with a view of the Matterhorn. It rained the first two days, and the hotel kindly provided umbrellas. The location was perfect for even a rainy day adventure, knowing we were never too far from the hotel to dry off and warm up. The morning we were scheduled to leave, the sky cleared and we woke up to a stunning view of a freshly powdered Matterhorn. The staff member who managed the breakfast area kindly gave us coffee to take to our room, and we wrapped ourselves in the provided blankets and sat on the room balcony watching the sun rise over the mountain. Later, we saw a painting of the Matterhorn that identically represented our experience - seeing it glowing in the early morning light. We were leaving and didn't have a chance to purchase the painting from the artist. I contacted the hotel and, to my genuine amazement, they helped us remotely purchase the painting and shipped it to us. Raphaella, we are so grateful for your help. From the moment we checked in and well beyond, we felt cared for by the hotel staff. The lobby fireplace is perfect for warming up, and the hotel location is ideal. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and conscientiously detailed with extra blankets, umbrellas, slippers, robes, and anything needed after a day of adventuring. The included spa is clean and inviting, easy to enjoy with little fuss. But, the above-and-beyond attention from the staff, from suggesting where to eat to when to visit the spa when it was less busy to the amazing niceness of assisting us remotely with a painting purchase makes the Bellerive a true outlier in hotel experiences.…
My perfect stay in Zermatt for the family group of ten. Its take 10 mins walk from train station. The hotel is really beautiful and cosy. Staff provided the children kits for our kids and they really love it. Room is nice, beautiful and clean. We can see Matterhorn from the room. The best breakfast in our trip. The staff is very attentive and provide great service, they always smile and keep on checking whether we need any support from them. Love this hotel!
Lovely stay at the Hotel Bellerive. On arrival in Zermatt, we were picked up at the train station by hotel shuttle service. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed time in the spa (hot tub/saunas and relaxing area). The buffet breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety and many different options.
We just spent 2 magical days at Bellerive hotel, and we loved everything about it! Great location, a block away from the Main Street, and less than 10 minutes walking from the train station; however, the hotel provides a free shuttle to and from the station, which was super convenient. Our room was amazing, very unique and comfortable, and when the weather was good, it offered breathtaking views of Matterhorn. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering lots of delicious choices! The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back in one day!!!
This is a modern hotel with a traditional feel. The staff is friendly and professional. They will meet you at the train station in an electric vehicle to take you and your luggage to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is right near the center of Zermatt, but a block or so away from the main street. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
Hotel Bellerive is a lovely, family-run hotel. The rooms are extremely comfortable with thoughtful details, including a great bed and great rain shower head. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide selection of bread, pastries, local cheeses, meat, yoghurt and fruit . The staff are wonderful and very happy to help whatever the query or request. Zermatt is an amazing place and I would love to return to this wonderful hotel.
This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in more than 50 years of international travel. Our hotel room was clean, spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast each morning was especially wonderful, with a large selection of meats, salmon, caviar, cheeses, breads, cereals, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, etc., plus coffee drinks made to order. There were several very good restaurants within two blocks of the hotel, and it was an easy walk to the train station and the Glacier Express gondola. The free spa downstairs had a steam room, dry sauna, and plunge pool. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Zermatt.
Loved this quaint hotel in Zermatt. David made our stay extra special with hiking and food recommendations, and drinks in the lobby. Services were great. We loved the spa area, had laundry done, used their shuttle to/from the train, breakfast was plentiful (fresh pressed orange juice) and mini bar was replenished daily. Great experience!
I am eager to return! Breakfast was a smorgasbord of local cheese, meats and pastries, as well as made to order egg dishes. The staff was kind and helpful, furnishings were lovely, Because I booked directly through them, my refrigerator was resupplied gratis daily with wine, beer, and soft drinks. Loved Hotel Bellerive!
