It was like we had arrived at a relatives house...they were SO welcoming. I have never thanked a hotel for "having us" before...but it just seemed fitting! Katja, Mario, Rafaela, and all other staff went out of their way to be helpful and truly welcoming. No expenses spared on their renovations. Everything is truly up-to-date, clean and top of the line. Loved the dry and warm ski boots every morning from the ski lockers with boot dryers. Great location. Very easy 1-minute walk (even in ski boots) to bus which takes you to any of the ski lifts, and very close to all downtown restaurants etc. for apres ski. We purchased the "package" which included ski rentals, one dinner for each guest, and a massage per guest. I think it was well worth it. They sent us to Z'art for dinner which was truly amazing. We had a small room, but well equipped. We will not consider any other hotel when we return!

Hotel's Favorite
We had a marvelous stay at this quaint, beautiful boutique hotel. Mario, Katja and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They were most friendly and were extremely helpful in arranging skiing opportunities, giving restaurant advice, and making our stay more than comfortable. We enjoyed the spa, fireplace, and conversations at the bar. They helped us learn about both the community and the culture. Their breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious. This hotel has so many added touches that cater to the needs of guests, and the owners themselves work hard to make each day a successful one. I would return here in a minute and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Zermatt! The view of the Matterhorn is also stunning from this location. Undeniably a highlight of our trip to Switzerland!!!

An excellent hotel in the centre of Zermatt. After staying here a few times now, we would not stay anywhere else. The rooms are lovely with every comfort that you need and a delicious breakfast buffet. There is always a warm welcome from Katja and Mario. The staff are all friendly and helpful too. Looking forward to staying again next year!

A wonderful boutique hotel with superb hospitality, understated elegance, and lots of charm. The perfect blend of modern comfort and authenticity. Not much of a view from my room, but I wasn’t looking to spend my day gazing out the window. This place deserves all the praise it is getting. Just be mindful of rooms close to the raucous bar next door if you’re sensitive to sounds of revelry on the weekend. Didn’t bother me. Thumbs up overall!
