Nice hotel with good service, very worth with the price, also the staf very helpful, they give extra heater for my room. Breakfast With a lot menu and delight taste. The location of the hotel is very easy to reach, from the train station I called the hotel to be picked up and within 5 minutes an electric car came to pick me up.

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely family run hotel. The location is less than 10 mins walk from the Zermatt train station, 5 mins from the centre of Zermatt and 15 mins from the cable car station to the Matterhorn. The owners Hannelore & Andre greeted us on arrival and were friendly and attentive (but not overly). The hotel is really cosy, with lovely rooms and a great walk in shower. We paid extra to get a view of the Matterhorn which was spectacular and so good we walked back to the hotel to sit on the balcony and have lunch from a local bakery. The breakfast was lovely with fresh local bread and ingredients, it does not serve other meals but this was not a problem given the closeness of the town centre - we would recommend the Zermatt Kitchen very close the hotel. A lovely stay and we would definitely return and recommend

Lovely views and great service. The extra euros for a room with a Matterhorn view is well worth it if the weather is good, but be aware this is often not the case. Breakfast was quite good and the staff is friendly and efficient. Small attended bar during regular hours and an "Honesty Bar" 24/7. Easily recommended.

First time in Zermatt.
The hotel is very cute and charming. We loved it and we would stay there again. The room (superior double room) was cleaned every day. Lots of storage, maybe next time I will book the room with Matterhorn view but otherwise for the time we have spent in the room it was just what we needed. Located so centrally, you can go in and out and everything you need is at reach. The breakfast room has a view of the Matterhorn which is magical first thing in the morning. Plenty of food choices!!
I have absolutely nothing to complain and I would recommend to anyone to try this hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Ambiance Room on September 13, 2021, in the Honeymoon Suite with the jet tub and Matterhorn view from our bed and balcony. It is exactly like the pictures posted, and the tub jets were amazing with a few different modes. We loved the skylight in the bath area and the overall how quiet the area was throughtout the day/night. The view is picture perfect and we also we enjoyed breakfast as well as the honesty bar at night.
Location: Given your coming by train the hotel is about a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the train station with a steep hill therefore if you aren't up for it take a bike-taxi from the station. However, we personally found the walk not to be all that bad with luggage but I can see it being a bit much for anyone not used to walking that far with luggage.
Staff: At check-in staff was wonderful and made sure that we knew everything the hotel had to offer. Overall, they make us feel very welcome. For example, it was my wife's birthday and they offered to decorate the room at a very affordable price compared to other hotels. We did it and 10/10, it had a sign, balloons, and flowers across the bed. Outstanding job. Then the next morning, they reserved us a table at breakfast with balloons and flowers. Very nice personal touch and very much appreciated.
Thanks again for making our stay fantastic, and with the location and staff, I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Ambiance in early December. The rooms are really spacious (we had 2 rooms) and even the room without the Matterhorn view had a stunning view too. The sun rising onto the slopes of the Matterhorn from our room every morning was a highlight. Both bathrooms were also large, modern and well appointed.
Breakfasts were amazing with a wide choice of coffee, teas, juices, fruits, cereals, pastries, eggs,
meats and cheeses.
All the staff and owners were extremely helpful and very friendly.
The hotel is well positioned for easy access to the peaks, the train station and the shops and restaurants.
I would highly recommend Hotel Ambiance as it is also fairly good value for money in expensive Switzerland and I would rate it higher than the 3* it is.
Breakfasts were amazing with a wide choice of coffee, teas, juices, fruits, cereals, pastries, eggs,
meats and cheeses.
All the staff and owners were extremely helpful and very friendly.
The hotel is well positioned for easy access to the peaks, the train station and the shops and restaurants.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The family who owns the hotel went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our visit was flawless. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home.

Quiet street, excellent service. We had an amazing Whiskey tasting experience with Andre, I have a new appreciation and knowledge for Scotch now! The Honesty Bar is delightful after a long day exploring Zermatt. The breakfast offerings were delicious, fresh local cheeses and preserves, breads, fruit and protein to start your day. Definitely enjoy and get your day started right! Our room had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn.

Breathtaking view on Matterhorn; one of a kind! Very attentive service at front desk and breakfast time. Clean, cozy, tidy and warm room. Nice jacuzzi outside, kind of nice experience. 10 mins walk to everything important (Centre, lifts & train).
However, we were not informed early on that omelets were not included in breakfast buffet price; and water order to the rooms was chargeable.

On the breakfast we have a triangle with the breakfast informations about omelettes and fried eggs, when our guests order some additional to the buffet, we think they saw the triangle on the table.
