We stayed in a room with a private toilet and shower facing to back for 3 nights. The pros are very good location (walking 5 minutes from train station in the main street) and nice service. Our room doesn't have hair dryer and I went to their information desk on the third floor at 9pm to borrow it. A lady...

It all starts with the owner of this perfectly located renovated home right on the Main Street on the middle of town. We were welcomed with a warm hug by Marie Teresa and shown to our room. We were in 403 which is a wonderful room with its own bath. The entire property is spotless and the rooms were quaint....

The room was very nice, and was in walking distance of most of the city. -Room was very clean and comforting -Very inexpensive (More than a hostel, lot less than other hotels) -You could hear louder people through the walls (No street noise) -Luckily its not a party hotel, so most people were quiet -Shared shower/bathroom

We spend some nights in Darioli before we could check in our hotel for the week of new years. For Zermatt standards it is very affordable which was the reason to book it. When we arrived it was all a pleasant surprise. We had two rooms, one for the kids and our room, 401, had a private bathroom (shower was...

Hotel Haus Darioli has a comfortable localisation in the center of Zermat. When I step in there I was really impressed with charming atmosphere of old house. Although I;m not a real fan of those "old" style I was impressed with design consistency. In chilly, mountain air and in extremely white bedding I slept so well, that after one night...

You can't beat the location (on the Main Street of Zermatt) for the price being amongst the lowest (I think). It's just across the Post Hotel. We had the double bedded ensuite room facing the back. It's quiet. There's no reception and check out is as simple as leaving the keys in the room when you leave. We were lucky...

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I think we got really lucky and were given one of the biggest rooms in the Haus and we were extremely pleased with this considering that our last hotel had been the size of a closet... The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the hotel was in...

Can't beat the location! It's a no frills sort of place but if you are looking to stay within a budget it's a great option. Very friendly staff. They actually left a key out for us when we arrived so there wasn't a check in process for us. When you go through the front door you will see an entrance...

We stayed here for 110 swiss francs per night in a double room, when the other cheapest rooms in hotels were over 300. Its really in the middle of town. The reception is on the 3rd floor and isnt manned all the time, so you need to prepare your arrival with the owners to collect your key. I was on...

“Room 410 was close to middle of the hotel, so it didn't pickup much street noise, but being closer to the bathrooms meant you could hear sounds from there. The view out the tiny window was pretty, but not much else in the room was.”
