I stayed in a budget room on the 5th floor for 14 nights, and I had a great time. This room used to be an attic before, but the inside was cleanly refurbished, and was comfortable. In Zermatt, a hotel room with its own shower and a bathroom, and a TV for $70/night is a great deal (for the next...

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of the town, very close to most restaurants and bars, but not on the main street, so on a very quiet corner. The gondolas are a 5 minute walk away, and there is public transport that takes you easily all around Zermatt. The hotel is cosy, it is not one of those...

Very quiet side from the main commercial part of Zermatt. Great view of Matterhorn from room. Delicious breakfast and food choices. A bit long way to walk to ski bus station with ski outfits. Free Shuttle ride when check out to train station. Only sauna room but not steam or spa which would be desirable after whole day ski.

Very comfortable room in this family run hotel. Would give it top marks if it had a restaurant, however the breakfasts were excellent. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff very pleasant. A short walk to the town centre.

It is more expensive but the view to Matterhorn is greater than you think. In the morning and evening I looked up at the mountain during my stay from my room. It never bored me. The room is big enough for two and a dog. Extra cost for a pet was 10 CHF, which is reasonable. Good breakfast, especially high...
