This is exactly what I had hoped it would be. Great staff, amazing rooms, clean and an amazing location! Walking distance to everywhere in Zermatt! Centered right in the heart of the Main Street. Quick trip to the train and to see the Matterhorn . Great bar too! Would most definitely recommend and return!

Solid hotel with good service and a good bar. Rooms were clean and spacious, restaurant below the hotel was good as well. Sauna in the basement was big, but Jacuzzi was quite small. Overall, had a very pleasant stay.

The Pollux was like a home away from home. This hotel has a special place in the history of Zermatt - it is owned by the Taugwalder family - the same Taugwalders who made the first successful summit of the Matterhorn in 1865 (two of only 3 climbers to make it down). It is homey and impeccable, clean, well-appointed and...

The staff and owners are the most friendly and welcoming people you could ever meet. They are always trying to the best they can for you. The room we had was immaculate. Modern and warm and cosy. The bar downstairs is a wonderful place for a drink pre dinner or late evening. The breakfast choice was varied and delicious. The...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Pollux. This is a family-run inn-type hotel that is cozy and feels local and historical and yet also modern and sharp at the same time. We booked only a couple of months before a peak holiday period, and we were just so glad this worked out so well. And the bar is...

Great location a short walk from the train station and central to all activity in this charming village. A short electric taxi ride to the ski lifts. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large, comfortable and beautifully appointed, the bar area was lively each night, the restaurant excellent, the morning breakfast room also just great with a...

Hotel Pollux is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. It is nicely located in the town center- great for evening strolls at night. We were there for the Christmas Winter Holiday and it was beautiful. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful with getting you connected with your adventure needs. There is a ski rental...

Just got back from here for the Christmas holiday. The service was just outstanding! I should have got the names of the two lovely ladies that worked the front desk as they assisted us with everything from ski equipment rentals to private full day ski lessons for my wife. The food was very good too and the lounge area was...

I've been three times just for the views. A little dated but if you don't mind that 70's vibe.... clean and assemble to nice restaurants. Ask for the rooms facing the Matterhorn and be prepared to be amazed in the morning when you open the curtains!
