The hotel is located just 200m from the train station in zermatt so it's an easy walk to the hotel and very easy to find as it's on the Main Street. Check in is quick and easy once you find the reception desk which isn't the most straight forward! Key was given to us on a cowbell which was a...

Nice room with mountains view. Very quiet and clean. Staff very good. Hotel location in the main street of Zermatt and not far away from railway station and shops. Very good restaurant with Swiss cheese meals. Hope to come back again next year.

This hotel really was a disappointment. The wifi only works right beside the front desk. In your room, the internet repeatedly fades - if you can get it at all. "Rustic" seems to be code for run down from what we saw. And, the whole hotel has a very strong odor of cheese from the raclette heated in the restaurant...

Great location, wonderful staff, large room and bathroom. The "spa" was a wonderful treat! Although it may be described as rustic, there is nothing about it that wasn't completely lovely. It exceeded our expectations.

We spent three fantastic days in this cozy hotel: the room was big in a typical rustic style and perfectly clean, breakfast was great and the commun parts had a fantastic atmosphere. Also the location was great, really in the centre of Zermatt, close to the railway station, to the restaurants and bars and to the bus stop for skiing....

We spent a week at the Walliserhof, which is located close to the train station & ski bus; the rooms were fine and absolutely clean. Everyone was really kind and helpful, the service has been excellent - extra wishes (like a "Glühwein" late in the evening) were no issue at all. We had dinner three times, all of them being...

Overall a very good experience with a couple of small hitches. Very good service, the staff was very warm and friendly. Breakfast was excellent probably the best part of the hotel. Small hitches in the rooms like the bathroom latch not working but overall very comfortable. What we didn't like but is very addressable was that the steam was not...
