Detailed Reviews
We rented the top floor apartment and it was perfect for our size group. There were 8 adults in our group and we all slept comfortably in three bedrooms and the pull out couch in the living room. There is only one shower in the apartment, but there are two bathrooms. We thought that the shower would be a problem, but it wasn't. Since we were so close to all the activities of the area, some of us stayed out a little longer for some beverages with the locals, while others went back to shower. The apartment is super close to the downtown area and there are plenty of bars nearby. The town is a blast; once everyone gets off the mountain, everyone goes to the nearest bar or cafe... amazing!
The living room and kitchen space was big enough for us to cook dinner every night (the market is close by) and all eat together at one table. There are TVs, but we never used them; we were either playing games in the living room or were out exploring the town.
The ski lifts were within a 5 minute walk or you could take an electric taxi (another reason I loved this place... no personal cars). On that note, the train into town was easy and is only a 5 - 10 minute walk to the apartment.
Menno was amazing. He answered any questions that we had and made sure that our stay was comfortable.
Myself and my group would highly recommend this place!

Very convenient location. Short walking distance to all three starting points for skiing as well as the center of town for restaurants, shopping and the main train station. Nicely furnished and owner was very responsive to requests. A bit tight for 8 people but manageable.

Wondering if we were the first guest, if so they did a great job because all the details are fixed. This a 1 bedroom plus 1 living room remodeled apartment, about 6 minutes walk from the station. I was there with my 4 boys who turned the place into a zoo before I had time to take photos. Easy check in/out. Responsive and helpful owner.

We went to Zermatt several times this winter 2021 and we spent nights in different locations there. Among all the apartments we tested, we definitely recommend Zermatt Rental Venus, both the Venus Gold and the Venus Penthouse. The apartments are well equipped in a cosy atmosphere. The owner is really friendly and helpful. During our stay, he advised us on the best places for going out, heating & drinking in the resort. For sure we will go back to Zermatt and stay again in the Venus apartments.

Second time in House Venus. We have have a fantastic stay in the freshly renovated apartment. FANTASTIC Beds. Perfect bathroom, with a surprising shower. Unique to be in the centre of Zermatt, though so quiet and with such a peacefull view from the balconies. We will be back for sure!

We stayed from March 8-14, 2015. Close to EVERYTHING!! Walk from train station to apartment, no taxi needed, Matterhorn view from patio. We were in the 4 bed/2bath ground floor. Comfy beds, great shower water pressure, extremely clean, no odors, kitchen met our needs. Walk to awesome grocery store, shopping, restaurants. Ski lift. We ate all but 2 meals in the apartment from food purchased at Co-Op grocery store--it reminded us of a Whole Foods in the United States! We ate at the Italian restaurant adjacent to train station-very good food. On our last day, we sat out on the front patio over at the Zermatterhof Hotel and had terrific lobster bisque, while the pianist played soft music, as we watched the horse drawn, fur lined, carriages take guests throughout the village while we took in the views of the village as well as the snow capped mountains!! It was unreal!! Property owner was easy to work with, answering all our questions and making us feel very comfortable before our arrival. Apartment building has washers and dryers in the basement of the building, you will
need a few coins. Nice, large breakfast/dining table, 2 flat screen TV's. Small living room area only jas a love seat, but it was never an issue for our party of 8 plus a baby due to the large dining table adjacent to the loveseat. Great large fenced in patio with backyard also!! I will definitely return to Zermatt and will definitely stay at Haus Granit. Be sure and eat the grilled weinersnitzel from the one local street vendor, it was tasty, along with the chocolate stores, shops and clothing stores, even a hair salon and dry cleaners!! Tip: mail "yourself" home a postcard for a great travel memory and take a picture with a Saint Bernard dog ,named Biscuit, on top of the mountain with the Matterhorn as your background! I hope you enjoy this vacation spot as much as we did and hope you found our description very helpful!!!
