Me and my friend needed a place to stay before starting the Haute Route, and this place was it. Ok place to stay, but do not expect anything extravagant, it is a bed and a shower. The rooms are nice and clean. Descent kitchen facilities makes it somewhat fun to meet 'your neighbours'.

It is literally just beside the train station, so upon arrival, a 1 minute walk across the road and you reach the hotel from the train station. Yet there is no noise of the train!! The reception is very helpful, the room I stayed with private toilet was mostly wooden, windows looks out to beautiful zermatt street and you can...

It was not enough for 3 adults and 1 baby, but I liked the hostel like atmosphere. Name is hotel but it's closer to hostel since no breakfast, room service is available. Shower room was nice and there is a kitchen in the basement. And it's very close to Coop and train stations. If you are not with more than...

I'd like to start off stating that the hotel was located in a beautiful place, but the hotel itself wasn't as lovely as where it is located. Firstly, the hotel doesn't cost what they are asking you to pay. I paid 200 euro per night for a hotel that has a receptionist that only works during specific hours. I've been...

We arrived at the hotel around 4pm and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Upon trying to check in it turned out we had arrived a day early! We were on a three week whirlwind trip, but thanks to the lovely lady at reception she made a few adjustments and got us the same room for the two nights....

This is probably the best budget option there is in Zermatt. I was a solo traveler so I did not mind staying in a dorm (top floor). The dorm room has several beds which are in little nooks. The dorm beds each have their own light and electrical outlet. It is quite a trip up to the top floor so...

If you're looking to do Zermatt on a budget (which is otherwise impossible), can handle no frills and want to meet up with some great people (all ages, all nationalities) then this is your place. Literally steps away from the railway station, Gornergrat station and eBus stop; less than 10 minute walk in ski boots to the Sunegga station. Speaking...

Accessibility Short flight of steps to main entrance. Ground floor rooms available. Steep, badly lit stairs to all other floors including kitchen/lounge. No lift. Location Adjacent to the main station and mountain railway and to a ski bus stop. Shops, including Migros and Co-Op supermarkets are a few minutes walk away. The hotel More accurately, "rooms" on the Greek model,...

Amazingly well-equipped kitchen and common/living area. Everything sparkling crispy clean - not like a hostel and puts the other three low budget places in town to shame. I've stayed in double, single and dormitory rooms over the last ten years and they all are great value. The staff are very helpful. The clientele can be mixed - usually it's good...

Good location at the start of town, and across from the train station. Is a nice hotel, the best feature was the large and well appointed kitchen. We were very excited to be able to cook a nice meal, and a large grocery store is only blocks away. The dining area was very cozy. Even had an latte machine for...
