We've been staying here as a family for years, and it is always a delight. Everything here is wonderful: the view (perfect Matterhorn view), the rooms (each one unique) the design (warm but modern), the service (family-run), the location (20m from the bubble). Pirmin and Moni are wonderful hosts, and if you're lucky you may even get to ski with... More

Being a Zermatt fan for many years, I decided to spend two days at Suitenhotel Zurbriggen. The hotel is a jewel from every point of view, location, ambiance, attention to the details. Still the most important factor making the atmosphere so special are the hosts of the hotel- Moni and Pirmin Zurbriggen, the ski legend and his wonderful wife, who... More

Everywhere in Zermatt says it has a view, but this place has THE view - on the edge of the village facing towards the Matterhorn. Pirmin Zurbriggen, the famous Olympic champion downhill skier, and his wife Moni are super-friendly and modest hosts. This isn't the Zermattahof or the Monte Rosa, so service is relaxed and light touch, but the owners'... More

We recently stayed here for 4 nights. I can't think of anything we didn't like. The setting and views were lovely. We really liked the location, which may not suit everyone. For a summer visit, being at the end of the village meant a ?700m walk into town - we actually liked this, since it was an 'active' holiday. If... More

This was our 3rd time back to Zermatt, staying at Zurbriggen, and it was just as wonderful as when we first stayed 3 years ago. Stunning views, great location, wonderful service, well appointed rooms, lovely wellness area, and delicious breakfast brought straight to your room. We love staying here and have re-booked again for next year.

We spent just one night here, but it was a fantastic break. Beautiful small boutique hotel with wonderful views of the Matterhorn. It is slightly way from the centre of the village but right next to one of the main lifts up to the pistes (what else would you expect from a hotel owned by an Olympic champion skier...?). Relaxing... More

We have just spent 2 weeks at the Suitenhotel Zurbriggen in Zermatt. As first time visitors to Zermatt we weren't sure where in the village was the best location for skiing. As it was our first trip to Zermatt we did a great deal of research about the best location to stay within the village and we decided on the... More

We visited the hotel this Christmas as family of four. The hotel is in the best place located. One minute walk from the ski lifts and five minutes walk from the central of the village. The hotel team was all the time ready to full feel our wishes. We enjoyed our stay. We will be back again. Thank you

The upside to staying at Zurbriggen is that our vacation kicked off to memorable start. The downside is that the rest of our trip will pale by comparison! We came to Zermatt at perhaps the deadest week of the year.Very little going on and few restaurants even ere open. Fine by us! The hotel had a personable and gracious staff... More

Where d I begin to describe the amazing experience my wife enjoyed in this fantastic place? Olympic gold medallist and skiing legend Pirmin Zurbriggen himself was kind enough to pick us up at the train station and drive us through Zermatt's oh-so-Swiss streets to the hotel on the edge of town (but within 1200m walking distance of everything). We had... More
