Personnel from reception and bar-restaurant was very helpful and friendly. Room very clean, everything was new. Bathroom very clean and totally new, suitable for 1 person, not very big, with shower cabin. Comfortable bed. Noise isolation between chambers is poor, but after 22:00 it was quiet. For outside noise there was good isolation, no noise. Price was a bit higher... More

Having stayed at many hotels throughout the world, this hotel falls far short of the standards we have encountered for the same price elsewhere. We booked a junior suite at 216 swiss francs per night and although the accommodation was adequately spacious, the whole feel of the building was like being in a 1970's communist block where everything feels very... Slightly disappointing for a hotel which was shown as #2 of 9 in Tripadvisor. 3rd floor room was quiet in October, but was rather basic. The room and bathroom had been renovated recently, but the bathroom drains smelled a bit. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable (e: soft-ish). Good free internet, convenient free parking just outside the... More

When on business in Sion, there not may choices to stay overnight. We booked this hotel but it was disappointing. Rooms are spacious and very clean, though basic. Bathroom is small but sufficient for one person. The one huge problem is the noise. We stayed on 1st floor. Rooms are not isolated properly so I could hear every single word... More

As we arrived tired by car, the free private parking offered was very pleasing. The room was quite large, not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was convenient and clean. The north facing windows had a view over the Sion castle, which is a nice plus. Sion's center with shopping and cafes is 5 minutes walk to the west. We... More

The hotel has just been totally renovated. The rooms are modern and adequately furnished. The bed comfortable. Flat screen provides cable television with a very large selection of programs including all the BBC and ITV channels. Insulation seems to be good as I didn't hear any of my neighbours and this despite the wooden floor. The only downside to this... More

Well, this is not a bad place the bed is good, the room is clean and not too small, and front desk is smiling and efficient, on top of that parking is free just in front of the entrance. All the rest is optional… Breakfast is not included and is rather minimalist. We were looking for a one night stop,... More

If you want to combine the decor of an episode Derick, the 70's German detective show, with the ambiance of the hotel in The Shining, then book now. Jobsworth welcome, oppresively hot room and a reception area that could do with a good dusting. Bathroom was clean but you don't want to linger. A last resort.

Staying overnight in Sion, we booked this hotel last minute because they offered the best price. The personnel is very friendly and the bar is reasonnable. WiFi is free and has adequate speed. The rooms however are old and hot due to the carpet, but clean. The elevator and alleyways look tired and in need of some fresh paint and... More
