We had a very nice experience at the hotel, since the checkin the staff was very kind and clear. walking distance to the city center/lake side. Room was very nice & comfy. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast, simple but complete, and with a great vibe thanks to Mrs. Katia :) Would definitely come back next time I’m in Lugano.

I stayed only one night as my preferred hotel was fully booked and I was forced into hotel city lugano. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was the kindest I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Sure the decor isnt anything to praise and they dont have room service or other basics but it is clean and efficient. I have to say one more time that the staff here is just amazing, every single one of them. I would recommend this hotel.

Had a nice three night stay while visiting Lugano. Rooms are nice and a decent size and clean. As a family of 5 we had to take two rooms but they were side by side. Only small complaint was air con seemed to be locked at a particular temperature and it was a bit warm and the room fridge was quite noisy but beds were comfortable. Staff are very friendly and looked after the kids wonderfully at breakfast. We'll enforced COVID restrictions. More than happy to stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and efficient. It doesn’t have great views but it’s easy to walk to the lake and the receptionist offered at check-in free bus tickets which we used twice. In fact, I would say the staff is the best thing about this hotel- helpful, efficient, friendly. The breakfast staff was also very nice. I hope management realizes this!

Nice and clean rooms!! Strange bathrooms with glaswalls. Awesome breakfast!! The Staff is very handsome and helpfully!! There could be more space at the carpark, it's not very comfortable with an SUV.

If there’s one thing that will make an imperfect stay perfect, then it would be the people around..this hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are not big, internet was poor, but the people were pleasant. Special shout out to Katia from the breakfast room, she sincerely goes out of her way to help even it was minimally needed, service deluxe to everyone.

Modern hotel, with very clean rooms and bathrooms. Rooms and bathrooms are not huge , but definitely not small either. Parking in underground garage: 15 franks per day. very tight ramp, drive slowly. Location: 11-12 minute slow stroll to the lake. Perfect for pre-dinner walk. Breakfast: free . lots of selections. tasty. coffee, cappuccino, etc... Service: we needed to check out at 430 in the morning. I asked them the night before if there will be someone at the desk to check us out that early. they said yes, and that they will have something for us to eat, (which I didnt ask for). Their breakfast starts at 7. Again, I dont need to eat at 430 in the morning. Nevertheless, the entire buffett was spread out for just the 4 of us. That was totally unneccesary, but very touching. My son and I stayed here for a night while traveling through this area of Switzerland. It’s a modern hotel, an easy and safe 8 block walk, through the business area of Lugano, to the waterfront and the old town. Our twin room was smallish but with good amenities. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast staff. There is a very nice breakfast served, including hot items. Parking is available underground (with a tiny ramp to reach the garage!) at a 15 Sfranc charge. It was a very nice stay in a very nice property!

I moved to this hotel from another one - it was a great decision. Whilst you are right in the city so you dont have a view it makes up for this in every other way. The service is great - helpfully found me yoga, suggested what I could do on the day i had off, had delicious coffee in the lobby, a choice of different language TV programmes and a lovely spacious room. Plus in reality a few minutes walk away from everything - was really good.
