This was a really good value hotel, very clean and attractive, within easy walking distance of the train station. The people were helpful and relaxed and the breakfast was really good, served in a lovely room. We were on an upper floor, so to access wifi we had to go down to the lounge area - where there was a... More

Was a great location, close to train station and city center. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The couple running the hotel really went out of their way to help me find my way around as I was on my own and without a Swiss phone. Much appreciated. Breakfast each morning was delicious and Internet worked well! Would recommend to anyone.

Contrary to previous reviews the hotel staff do speak English and couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The hotel is a lovely charming hotel in a quiet back street just 5 minutes walk to the lake. The rooms are quaint and functional and the breakfast lovely but our lasting impression will be the friendliness of the people who run the... More

I stayed here for the Moon and Stars concerts a couple of weeks ago and I can't say anything else but: BEAUTIFULLY DONE! The staff is really friendly, the bedrooms are classic but still pretty and really clean, the shower is really little but still keeps its quality. The breakfast service was absolutely delightful, you really feel welcome in here!... More

My stay in this hotel was very good, for a really good price, and I certainly recommend it. The building is lovely with a lot of character, fitting the Swiss Italian feel of Ticino. I stayed in one of the private rooms. This room is compact but not too small. The furniture suits the stile of the rest of the... More

This little hotel -as the name indicates- is on a quiet street, very close to the Locarno train station, and walking distance from Locarno center. Rooms are a bit old fashioned, but I understand that they plan to re-do them at some point. The garden and lobby are very well decorated, so if they keep this style of decoration for... More

We recently stayed at this little hotel for four nights with family. It is in a convenient position, not far above the wharf. It is certainly small but our beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean and the breakfasts were good. There is nowhere very much to sit and have a drink and the Terraza was in fact the car... This old-fashioned small hotel, located in a small alley in town. Very clean, small staff and very friendly , offer help in any matter. Rooms a bit small and rather old-fashioned, their credit that there are many electrical outlets for loading our mobile devices. Breakfast is modest and reasonable, quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The price of the rooms is very... More

The Piccolo Hotel is a cozy Hotel in Locarno/Muralto, small -at is name suggest it- but very gentile, the room was great even has a little balcony. Nice people and good european breakfast (with a great muesli and swiss yoghurt, cheese and nice bread). Take notice that is not in the downtown, but is around 10 minutes walking from Train... More
