I didn't have high hopes for this place when reading the reviews. We found it to be just fine - restaurant and bar staff were terrific as was the food (we were on a tour and our meals options were set) and the room very comfortable. Had a little balcony to enjoy at the end of the day too.

We were a group of over two dozen people - my husband's hiking club - staying at this pace for three nights. Check-in was quick and uncomplicated - and yes, they also speak English - and the room was fine. It was small, but meticulously clean. Our room also had a small balcony. I really appreciated the dedicated reading lamps...

We stayed here before beginning the Glacier Express and this Hotel Sonne met our needs well. The hotel is basic but well appointed, immaculately clean and excellent value. We were very happy with our stay and had no complaints. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was very simple & minimalistic. It did not even have a kettle. The bed was very comfortable. The check in process was fantastic. The young guy was incredibly helpful showing us through 3 rooms to help us make a decision. We liked the location. Close to the Lake and also to the forest behind which was nice for...

On a road trip, which in itself was a delight to drive in the region leading to St. Moritz. I arrived in the town and drove round and round several times to get a feel for the place. I passed many hotels and many didn't have the appeal I was seeking which to be honest was little more than a...

This is a no fuss hotel offering good basic features. As St. Moritz can be expensive, we found this hotel very affordable. It's in a quiet area right next to the lake. It also has a bus that goes to the station that stops right In front. The rooms are lovely and clean with basic ammenities. The free wi fi...

We have had overflow family and freinds stay here on several occaisions through the year. The rooms are always lovely and clean with nice views, staff are friendly and efficient. The hotel is very conveniently located and boasts one of the best (and best value) Italian restaurants in the area.

Stayed here for a week, having discovered on a shorter visit 5 years ago that it makes a great base for walking in the Engadine (ignore the unattractive apartment blocks nearby!). If you stay more than 2 nights in summer/autumn you get free use of the buses, trains and cable cars within about 25km of St Moritz, and buses from...

We stayed 2 nights in mid-September and were pleased with the value and bus-stop-friendly location of the hotel. Our room in the main building faced the mountains, with a side view to the main road and was not noisy. (We were not immediately above the restaurant.) Arriving at the St. Moritz Train Station, take the Engadin Bus #3 (you can...
