Detailed Reviews
Hotel Laudinnela is one of the best hotels in St. Moritz, the location is very good. As a professional athlete I used to come here every summer for 5 years for a training camp, the services are impeccable, starting from the reception until the room services. The breakfast is excellent, the hotel also has a variety of restaurants which are excellent and especially the Pizzeria 👌 restaurant. They have a very active, polite and friendly staffs. Almost every night you can see them singing Happy Birthday for their customers 🎂 birthdays. I recommended this hotel to friends in my area and of course they were delighted. So, I recommend to anyone who wants to visit St. Moirtz passed through the hotel Laudinnela. Come visit 🤷🏽♂️

We had a group of 50+ skiers that booked int Hotel Laudinella. Front desk staff were very helpful and efficient. Our group had included breakfast and dinner for the week. Accommodations were comfortable, clean but not luxurious. This was great for a group of skiers that spend very little time in our rooms.
Food was very good and provided buffet style for both breakfast and dinner. There was a wide selection so everyone found food to their liking.
The hotel had 7 day lift tickets available at a significant discount but the full 7 days had to be purchased. However, this was cheaper that the 4 day lift ticked otherwise available online.
We did find it strange that no bar or wine purchases, even at dinner, could be charged to our rooms. While not a real problem we found this a bit inconvenient. The hotel has fitness, sauna and steam rooms available at no charge as well as massages for a fee. They also provide access to the nearby spa and swim center, Ovaverva for no charge.

We were fortunate enough to be offered a half-board package which also included ski and boot hire, the Engadine ski pass and use of the nearby Ovaverva swimming pool and spa. I was thrilled to see our room had a balcony. Everything was just right except for the lighting in the room. I trust the desk light bulb will now have been changed. Providing a central light in the bedroom is a major exercise as I suspect the whole wing lacks the necessary wiring. The breakfast and dinner buffets in the Stuva restaurant are amazing. We especially enjoyed the roast leg of lamb on our last evening.

Swiss hotels provide fine assortments of tea. In case you prefer coffee, bring some because we're often finding excellent lodging without coffee in the room. Although billed as a family establishment, this is a big hotel which hosts international Olympic level teams. It is exciting in the way that any big hotel would be exciting. We took the half board and enjoyed the food. If we stay here again, we might instead try some of the nearby restaurants. The restaurant staff is polite and efficient. One server, however, is extremely efficient. You'll know immediately if she's working at your table. Hang onto your plate or she'll whisk it away. If you're at the coffee machine and she wants to get something from the closet behind the machine, she'll move that machine right as your double espresso is pouring! The other staff are polite and more measured. Room 250 is very big and quiet.

Very quick walk over to the lake. The hotel staff were friendly and had some good food options, which was nice as we were there in off-season, I’m not sure there was much else open and available nearby at the time of our arrival. Our physical room was fine - small, but clean and really everything you need for a night. Location wise, not the best. They put us on the first floor right at the top of the main staircase/elevator, with the parking lot entrance out the windows. While I’m not a light sleeper, there was a fair amount of noise from others creeping in from both sides, especially the staircase. The conversations of those passing nearly sounded like they were in the room with us at times. As part of a group, we didn’t really have any control over requests, but would next time maybe request a location further from these main areas that lots of people have to pass.

This hotel is as minimalistic as it gets. The hotel was a youth hostel at one time and then transformed. The lobby area is all fine, but the rooms are tiny with little thought given to furnishings. The beds & pillows are cheap. Pillows are over foamed and beds lack too. The staff is friendly and the food was fine too. The hallway lights are dark until it detects motion and then illuminates. It’s as frugal as it gets.
The town was closed when we were there at the end of May.
The hotel does have an agreement with a very nice swim pool that’s part of the community. The pool is Olympic size and is indoors and outdoors with a great locker room set up too. We were there as part of a Globus tour of Switzerland. While the scenery is fantastic, it’s a very below average property based on the other hotels that the tour used. The only thing that I would say is positive about the room is the shower pressure. It was very powerful.
I would recommend this property to anyone who isn’t expecting much.

+1
This central hotel even has a concert hall! It is located at the foot of the alps and has comfortable rooms with great amenities, thick towels and luxury linens. Great staff!! Nice bar area and plenty of spots to meet friends in the lobby and outside seating too.
Rooms have plenty of outlets and great showers.
The buffet breakfasts are fabulous. Everything you would want, even for picky eaters

Great place with a lot to offer and very close to the slopes! There are several restaurants and bars available on spot with great food and drinks. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers the spa on spot as well as entrance to the Ovaverva pools/spa area. Great food, friendly staff and spa make the stay complete.

We know this hotel since a while as we have spent some vacation especially during easter time. We are a family of five and we always have gotten the right room size for us. The hotel is fully accessible and functional also for wheel chairs. The location is very convenient, near the public wellness center, the city center, the gondola to salastrains. It is not in the middle of the nature, but St. Moritz has become a real city over the years. If you look for that you need to stay in other villages a bit remote.

Room was big enough for two people however there’s a few things I didn’t enjoy. There was not a soap holder so I had to leave it there after used, the shower didn’t have a curtain or something to actually close the shower - maybe it’s a new type of design? When we went for dinner they forgot our wine which came halfway through the dinner and for breakfast my omelette with cheese was just scrambled eggs with cheese. Location was perfect. 3 min walk to the lake. 5 mins from the station by bus but the hotel offers a free transfer.

From their website:
Dine Around half board for CHF 35,–/day in our restaurants:
Stueva Buffet
Thai Siam Wind
Pizzeria Caruso
Le Carnotzet
La Brasserie
From what I remember it is everything except drinks. The Buffet is excellent and offers a great choice especially if there are a few people in the group with different tastes.
Just give the hotel a call and they will have the van at the train station when you arrive.
At the train station you can easily call for a complimentary pick up. Why don't you email them first. You can get a bus to the hotel when doing small commute around the smallish town.
Personally, I think you should visit - try the easy walk (well-signposted) which takes around 20 - 25 mins.
