Badrutt's Palace Hotel St. Moritz garners acclaim for its comfortable and elegantly decorated rooms boasting stunning views, although a few guests raise concerns about room size and cost. The serene atmosphere, with its tranquil spa and elegant spaces, is widely celebrated by travelers.
While the staff's helpfulness and exceptional care often receive high praise, some visitors have encountered issues with room charges and service in the Grand Hall. Opinions on value are split; some guests see the luxury amenities and dining options as justifying the price, but others balk at the additional costs. The hotel's cleanliness is consistently lauded, especially in the spa and accommodations.

When I close my eyes – I see the frosted lake and snow-glitter dancing in the air… Badrutt’s Palace makes you feel a real sense of wonder, it awakens your emotions to the point you never expected.
You’ll meet wonderful people who care about your new home, you and every detail of your stay, should it be short or long.
No words can convey the entire experience, all you senses will be engaged and you’ll renew literally.
This place is a real source of high energy, it likely acquired it from numerous years of legacy, dedication and love and is willing to impart all its secrets.
Talk to Giuseppe at the concierge desk – he’ll organize a marvel of every day at St Moritz.
Lake view suite is a must – you will be left spellbound.
P.S. The last but not the least – Breakfast! Celery juice and matcha latte will create a miracle day at Badrutt’s.

Do not stay anywhere else in St. Moritz but Badrutt’s Palace. This was my 2nd stay and I was once again impressed with the service that is offered. The staff are attentive and the service is excellent. My room was beautifully appointed, impeccably clean and spacious with a view over the lake and the mountains. Especially with the current crisis, the hotel team is doing it’s utmost that all guests feel that they are in a safe environment. Each room is equipped with a kid that includes face masks and hand sanitizers and that can easily be carried around when doing sightseeing. Moreover, I had the pleasure to eat breakfast at the Terrace, that is now served a la carte only due to the current measures. It was absolutely fantastic and each dish selected was super tasty. I can’t recommend this hotel enough as everyone is going out of their way to make your stay a memorable and unique one.

We are visiting this hotel every year. This year because of Corona virus, everything is slightly modified. All staff are wearing masks, everywhere there is hand disinfection gels. In the room there are also masks and disinfection tissues. There is also temperature control at the entrance of the Hotel. All restaurant staff are wearing masks. We appreciated lot that they take this very seriously and try to take care every guest who are coming to stay at the Hotel. Service is great. Staff are very friendly. They are always there for you and always try to find a solution. This distinguishes Palace to the rest of the Hotels!

We had a total of 3 rooms, a Junior suite and 2 twin bed rooms. Rooms are extremely outdated, all the rooms we stayed in needs a total refurbishment. Room sizes are small according to the categories specified. The overall service is not to the standards of a 5 star hotel. Not to mentioned that food Hygiene is disastrous!! I’ve complained about 3 incidents regarding food hygiene issues two of them happened in a row in the same time, the only thing they managed to do is to replace the order. When the third incident happened which was the day after I got very furious and asked for the manager to complain, where he had only apologized and asked me what he can do for me! The only benefit the hotel has from my point of view is its location, that’s why I gave it 2 points instead of one. I also have to say they don’t know the definition of Service recovery. I always like to stay in luxury hotels where I can feel the atmosphere and quality of service I’ve spend a lot of money on, but in Badrutt’s Palace my money was definitely wasted.

The Badrutt Palace Hotel is an iconic hotel given its rich history of celebrity guests and its legendary parties throughout decades. It is really a unique experience when you hear the slight creaky sound of the wooden floor when you work through the corridors.. this hotel is marked by its rich heritage.
The rooms are cozy and luxurious and has breathtaking views overlooking the St Moritz (frozen and white dazzling lake). Each room is slightly different, mine had a Jacuzzi bath tub and a separate shower bath as well. The only minor caveat is that I wish there are more spaces to hang the bathroom towers. The toiletries are exquisite and good quality (I usually use my own shampoo and conditioner but I am happy with the quality of their toiletries.
The housekeeping team is amazing .. not only are the rooms extremely clean, the bathroom shower heads and taps "sparkles" and glitters. The service is also excellent , especially in the restaurants.
The Spa is outstanding and the service is impeccable. My special compliment to Ms Florence Scheaffer , the Spa Manager who went all out to help me and assist other guests. She is cheerful and enthusiastic. Her service is truly exceptional . The pool in the Spa is also beautiful especially at night.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and we wish we can tarry longer. Maybe the next round.

Badrutt's is a St. Moritz institution. I had a few stays in the last years and this one didn't miss it again.
The rooms are gorgeous, sophisticated and elegant. The restaurant and bars are flawless and the Sunday afternoon tea has become a tradition in cold winter days. The view on the lake is just a pure beauty.
Nothing to add - just experience it if you have the chance to come by St. Moritz.

We stayed in Badrutt’s Palace for several days beginning of July 2020. This time for the first time with our 10 months old daughter. The whole stay was perfect as usual. Service was excellent, staff super friendly and the room incredible. Our room was equipped with a lot of baby amenities and the baby bed was extremely comfortable. Our daughter never slept before in her own baby bed until this stay. Also the Covid-19 measures are excellent and make you feel safe; e.g. each room is equipped with a Covid-19 kit and breakfast is now served à la carte. We enjoyed to the fullest and will definitely come back.
Great thanks to Richard Leuenberger and his team for the fantastic stay.

We had another great stay at the Palace this summer. Impeccable service, great room, amenities and food. However, most importantly, we felt safe during our stay. The hotel has implemented a number of measures to keep its guests and staff safe from Covid-19 to the extent possible.
This year, breakfast is a la carte, but you can basically order everything that you would normally find on their buffet. Everything is fresh, highest quality and beautifully arranged. Breakfast is also served on the terrace. A great place to start the day. For lunch, the La Diala garden restaurant is probably the best option in town on a sunny day. Nice view, secluded and great menu, including sushi options. Can also recommend the Palace Gelateria for an ice cream in the afternoon. Delicious homemade ice cream and many toppings to choose from. The children loved it. Last but not least, I had an exceptional Negroni at the bar.

Rooms are really outdated. Lobby looks like an old furniture flea market. All lobby seats are “Reserved” in the empty big lobby!
Hotel guests should be treated like at home, not like in temporary trendy new pop ups. Unusual for a major hotel to rent its lobby to functions and close it for guests! When I came down to the lobby I was stopped by a bouncer type and told that the lobby is closed for a private function (some Dracula thing)
Food in lobby and Nobu is good.
The ski room service is quite good.
Conceirge reserved the worst tables at the hotel’s pizza place, we couldn’t wait to leave due to uncomfortable table and noisy corner location. For this kind of top money you can get world class service in other resorts with much more offerings.

Dear 193naj, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. We strive to provide a premium service to all our guests, and we sincerely apologize if your visit didn't meet this standard. We regret to hear that you found the rooms and the lobby outdated. We value the traditional charm of our hotel, but we appreciate your perspective and will certainly take this feedback into consideration during our future refurbishments. Regarding the reserved seating in the lobby and its closure for private functions, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused you. We understand that the lobby is a shared space for all our guests to relax and enjoy, and we regret that this was not your experience. We will certainly review our procedures regarding private events to better accommodate all of our guests. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the food at the lobby and Nobu, and that you were satisfied with the ski room service. These aspects of our hotel are ones we pride ourselves on, and we're pleased they met your expectations. However, we're deeply sorry to hear about your experience at the Chesa Veglia. We certainly strive to ensure our guests are provided the best seating available, and we regret that this was not your experience. Please rest assured that we will take this into serious consideration and make the necessary improvements. Your feedback is important to us, and we are grateful for it as it helps us improve. We hope that despite these issues, you will give us another opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Another great stay at the Badrutt’s Palace with the family. Despite certain necessary restrictions due to COVID-19, the service level and experience did not suffer at all. In the contrary, we felt safe and the service level was even increased to ensure maximum convenience. For example, breakfast would be served in the room upon request and at no extra charge. It could be ordered in the morning, so no need to makeup one’s mind the night before and it arrived within less than 20 minutes (generally, room service was great and with attention to detail). If you decided to have breakfast at the restaurant there was the same choice as in previous years and everything could be ordered a la carte. The access to the hotel was limited to hotel guests and people that reserved a table earlier. This allowed for more space while keeping the Palace ambiance. It never felt crowded, not even in the SPA area and no issues to book any treatments despite the hotel being fully booked as we were told. As in previous years, the garden is a great place to relax and the la Diala restaurant is probably one of the best spots to have lunch outside.
