Stayed here as part of an organised tour in the Swiss Alps. Our room was perfect - spacious, incredibly clean, quaint but modern and lovely touches that exuded excellence. In addition, all staff were absolutely superb and really took pride in their hotel with impeccable service and attention to detail. The hotel manager was visible most days and was extremely welcoming, leading by example. A wonderful hotel oozing Swiss hospitality. Thank you for a wonderful stay, truly memorable.

Before arriving at this hotel, we were very lucky and grateful to spend a couple of days in a 5 star hotel in Pontresina. It was instantly clear that this 5 star hotel was not in the same league. Not even close. There were so many differences that it doesn't really make any sense to display 5 stars when these classifications are supposed to level services and quality. Among the observed differences : - nobody offered to take care of our lugguage during check-in - no complimentary water bottles in the room - furniture and wallpaper was worn down - hallways missing furniture, flowers, decoration - no pianist - jaccuzi in the 80's style, no tea remaing when we arrived - restaurant/breakfast, service and presentation, simply weren't at the same level This being said, the price was also a Major difference. This hotel was offered at a very reasonable price and therefore I would consider it as an OK 4 star hotel where it would be priced correctly. You get what you pay...but don't expect to get a 5 star hotel service and environment at a 4 star price. If the hotel had been advertised 4 stars, I would have given a rating of 4 rather than 3, because the stay remained pleasant.

We were disappointed to read that your recent stay with us was not as satisfactory as we would have wished for you and that we have failed to meet your expectation in some areas on this occasion. We are sorry that we have missed to offer our luggage service upon arrival as this has been a very unfortunate case and certainly does not reflect our 5* standards we are offering our guests. As the minibar itself is offered complimentary with a daily refill, is here the water placed inside the minibar to have it kept cool and refreshing. Whilst the hotel is very clean and tidy in our opinion it does not match five star hotels we have stayed in previously. The room was ok but the housekeeping service only left us one bath towel for two people 4 nights and there was no turn down service on 3 nights. There was no water in the room all 5 star hotels leave two bottles a day. We found out at the end of our stay you could ask for water from reception nobody told us. The breakfast egg making service was so slow a lot of times there was no chef at the station disappearing into the kitchen leaving people just waiting until we asked a waiter to fetch the chef after waiting up to 15 mins. Our stay included 4 evening dinners they were tasteless on all occasions On our day of leaving I paid our bill for dinner wine then when we were waiting for transport one of the receptionists accosted me saying I had not paid her manner was awful. I showed her the bill no apology just thank you that is not treating a client in a five star way I don’t mind paying 5 star prices but I want 5 star for that in every respect

It is certainly a standard that bath towels and linen are refreshed during the stay while offering service during the day and for turn down service. Please be assured that your feedback has been conveyed to our Executive Housekeeper for her review and to share your observation with her team. Your experiences in our restaurant during breakfast and your opinion about the taste/quality of your dinner have been great concern for us. Whilst we are appreciating your feedback after your stay, we would also like to remind that our team members in the hotel are always available for our guests during the stay and are happy to be of any assistance and of finding suitable solutions for any concerns and for any improvements during the stay. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding during your check out with your final invoice. Due to a system malfunction throughout the entire morning our Front Office Team had to clarify one more time the payment as to ensure that everything is in order. Hotel Belvedere is a beautiful hotel with a rich history. Staff is very professional and helpful, rooms are big and very clean (they been cleaned twice a day). Food is good,although restaurant are ‘too fancy’ for dinner with small kids.There is also a nice playroom too. Hotel needs ASAP wheelchair/stroller access! That’s the main flaw that of the hotel. It would be nice if there is some questioner where guests can leave some feedback. We had a wonderful stay with two small kids ,we would happily come again.

We have just returned from 6 nights and overall really enjoyed our stay. We had a small issue with our room, we had booked a suite, but newly appointed General Manager Mr. Rütti swiftly found a solution, not an easy task when the hotel is fully booked - so thank you very much and it was honour to meet such an accomplished Hotelier. We thought the location was very good, the (amazing) skating rink is just across the street and down the hill. If you are skiing you are in-between both ski-lifts. The hotel shuttle is a bit tricky, the drivers try their best but often very full. We learned quickly to not rely on it - walk or bus it. We ate three times at the in-house Romeo & Juliet restaurant, food & service very -the Apricot Schnapps is worth trying. Generally, the team is very nice, from breakfast to dinner, they try their hardest. I loved the fact that the F&B team includes some real personalities who were happy to have little chats and share their recommendations - fabulous. The Breakfast room manager runs the room so well, there is always a table ready. The Lounge is very spacious and nice atmosphere with live piano music for the pre-dinner drink. Housekeeping is very friendly and thorough - you will not find the tiniest piece of rubbish on the miles of carpet ... And our children certainly appreciated all the little Toblerones on their pillows. Considering this hotel team has gone from a very long year of very few guests to fully booked, it did an amazing job to make sure they get it right for all their guests. This hotel has buckets of history and charm but like many other Grand Hotels, might be a bit tired. I agree, the carpets should go and the bathrooms could be brought into the 21st century but if you choose to stay at a Grand Hotel, you need to move beyond, think differently and enjoy.

Classic luxury hotel, starting to show its age. Friendly staff. Dogs are welcome. Not situated near skiing facilities, and as their shuttle bus is not available from 12:00 - 15:00 guests sometimes have to use other means of transportation. Public bus stop is across the street, but prepare to queue when getting back from the slopes.

All staff is wonderful and helpful. The shuttle is very appreciated. The room is very spacious ( we have a superior room), old-style but all are in good condition and functional. Nespresso machine is a plus. The spa is excellent.

Great place, service oriented staff and comfortable facilities. Felt home and welcomed. Great SPA, vintage rooms but very comfortable. A taste of special. Hotel provide shuttle to gondola and is centrally located. Restaurant is at par with hotel quality. Great stay.

It was a nice experience to visit the Grandhotel Belvedere in Davos again after a long time. Under the new management of Mr. Rütti and his team, you can already see the first changes. Time is the most precious commodity and at the Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvedere in Davos, time is stopped so you can relax and enjoy. The combination of the fantastic service with an exquisite menu and wines is unique. If you book to stop time for yourself, it will be an unforgettable experience.
