In a wonderful week of March my family and me enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Seehof Davos. Next to the very comfortable room we had the pleasure of excellent service at the restaurant, the bar, and anywhere else at the hotel.
The hotel has a gorgeous modern luxe feel with a stunning lobby area, often with a pianist playing in the evening. The breakfast room is also stunning with panoramic windows and lots of light. The food was everything you could want at breakfast, hot and cold; plenty of space for everyone, no waiting around. We never ate dinner at the hotel (fussy child!) but there are a good few places nearby where you can eat although I'd recommend booking ahead for busy periods. The staff were friendly and helpful, always working with a smile and making us feel welcome. The rooms are massive and nicely decorated with plenty of space for your ski gear. We picked this hotel because it was close to the Parsenn ski lift. In fact, it is right next door. The hotel has a boot room in the basement, and there are two ski hire shops right there (Intersport and a local shop). It couldn't have been easier or better located for a ski holiday. If you're deciding between Davos Dorf (where this hotel is) and Davos Stadt close to the Jakobshorn lift, I found that Parsenn is more versatile for blues and easy reds; Jakobshorn has small beginner slopes but then everything else is more advanced, if that helps. We're confident we picked the right hotel for a luxe family ski holiday. You won't go wrong here.…
This is a well located nicely designed hotel totally let down by absent management and dreadful service. My room had a broken light and excessive heating which I complained about daily without anyone taking any interest. In both the bar and a la carte restaurant you can virtually die waiting - 45 minutes for a scoop of kids vanilla ice cream!! Also uncooked food that had to be returned. I ended up taking my own bags to the station after waiting 20 mins past my requested departure time & not wanting to miss the train. Some may also find the swiss/asian fusion food offer not to their liking so I'd avoid anything other than breakfast which is comprehensive & good. Generally not up to expected Swiss standards.
Excellent and friendly service Warm and welcoming feeling You can feel the hospitality professional management. The location is excellent. Very clean! Very modern Excellent rooms Very good breakfast and diners Very nice SPA Next to the ski lift! Just perfect

We had an amazing experience the Seehof. The staff were very nice and happy to help with anything, the food was great and the room was beautiful. We will definitely return! Highly recommend to everyone looking for a luxurious vacation in a breathtaking view 🗻
Where do I begin? Arrived at the hotel last minute and the staff was able to accommodate our needs They were graceful and kind and wonderful Throughout our stay the staff was kind and accommodating Would like to thank the front desk crew especially Jan Kumar who offered the most outstanding customer care At the highest standards Also wanted to mention Esther Kiss who helped make our stay wonderful And the unforgettable spa staff who were just so child friendly and hospitable Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for a wonderful family friendly stay Can’t wait for our next visit with you
We chose The Seehof Hotel primarily for its location in the heart of Davos Dorf. A short walk from Davos Dorf station ( less than 5 minutes). As this was a ski trip the hotel is next to the Parsenn Bahn funicular railway and has several excellent ski shops within a minutes walk of the hotel, all offering excellent ski hire packages. This was our second stay at the hotel although I have been skiing in Davos regularly since 1979! Since our last stay at the hotel two years ago (Covid lockdowns stopping cancelling last years trip) the hotel has been substantially refurbished. Notably the bedrooms and the main restaurant area and lounge have undergone a thorough refit, which are superb. The main restaurant now has a much cosier feel to it and has been tastefully transformed. It offers a perfect view of the Davos Dorf ice rink and the mountains beyond. Breakfast is also served her and watching the winter sun rise over the distant mountains is a perfect way to begin the day. The staff in the restaurant and lounge bar are welcoming, friendly and professional, and importantly not overly attentive. The lounge has also undergone refurbishment and now has a much nicer feel to it. The whole refurbishment has used local timber extensively, creating a atmosphere which is contemporary and much more in keeping with the hotel’s surroundings. The Seehof’s jewel in its crown has to be its spa and well-being suite, which is spectacular and much needed after a full days skiing. With two huge saunas, a large steam room and large jacuzzi pool area, it never feels crowded and after enjoying these superb facilities there is a quiet lounge area to rest and relax. You can also book massages and the sports massage I had was one of the best ever. There is also a small but quite well equipped gym using mostly TechnoGym equipment and a good mirrored stretching and yoga area. For the skiers there is an excellent ski room with lockers for skis and boots which operate from the your room key card. This room has a separate entrance/exit which is literally a 30 second walk to the Parsenn Bahn lift. It could not be easier and more convenient. To summarise this hotel is everything you would want from a 5 star hotel in a town like Davos, welcoming and friendly without being fussed over. Exceptional staff, location and facilities. The food (half board in our case) was faultless every night and after a day of skiing was a real highlight. Every meal had in our 6 day stay was fabulous and up a level from our stay two years ago. I struggle to find anything about the hotel, facilities or service that I would like to see improved and it’s not often I say that I can assure you. No surprise then that we are already planning our booking for next January.…
Very nice building ideally located near the ski lifts. After 3 days the floor of our room had still not been cleaned or even vacuumed.the mattresses completely deformed. No topper to improve the comfort.breakfast of very good quality.do not follow a family with small children, food waste remain all morning on the floor .Staff very nice but not up to the level of a 5 stars.
I would happily come back to this hotel. The hotel is central and very quiet despite its location on a principal road. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. The decor is upmarket and the hotel is under new enthusiastic management. The breakfast buffet is awesome, and the wait staff are eager to top up food if it’s eaten and you come late. The sauna and steam area is great. Rooms are spacious and have a lovely smell of pine wood. They also give you a free travel card during your stay that you can use for buses to the ski lifts or to take the train to Klosters. The hotel also offers a 20% discount on ski rental equipment at nearby shops. The only reason I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars is that the WIFI is not good. Plus, at least in our room (204) it was impossible to switch off all the lights without hitting the switch that shut off all the electricity in the room. Meaning that none of your devices can charge overnight, and if someone needs to go to the toilet at night they either have to switch on the main lights (and disturb your companions) or feel your way in the dark. Finally, the food in the cellar restaurant (no reservations required and not where they serve the four course full board dinners) was very average. Otherwise, an outstanding address!…
