Just back from a lovely week in Club Med Wengen. Lots of fun for the kids, great skiing, enthusiastic GOs and excellent ski instructors. In particular Tim, the patient ski instructor of the teenage group from whom they learned a lot and GO Ming who organised so much for them, including the teen show which was a great hit. Also...

This was our 15th stay in Club Med Wengen and we love the village and the charm of the hotel for the entire family. It is true though that the service and especially the "animation" is not comparable to other Club Meds. For example no "jeu cafe" and the quality of the "spectacles" was not great. Both the chef de...

We were very disapointed by terrible rooms conditions. Also there was incredibke cold in our room in the night, that we were waking up by the cold. I was complaining on the reception and asking for portable heating for 4 times. No possitive response, only the last day some handy man came to check our heating, it was all. IT...

I must admit, I was sceptical. I'm not one for vacation clubs and the likes. From the initial interaction to booking to actually experiencing the vacation was pure value for money and overall excellence!

Our Class 5 English ski instructor was Tim Milner. His easy going manner, knowledge and expertise of the entire region, including Wengen, Grindewald and Muren, made this ski trip an unforgettable experience for all of us in his group, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Go out of your way to get him to guide you, even if English...

Just got back from a week in the snow with my almost 6 year old daughter. It was the first time with Club Med, well the first time for an all inclusive vacation as well, and it was fantastic! I felt like I had a real vacation and she made friends and really enjoyed herself! Both of us cannot wait...

The resort itself is magnificent. The food was good and our room was large and comfortable BUT we were not told this was a children's hotel - we were the only ones without small children. The noise in the bar was appalling and there was nowhere to withdraw to except our room. This did not spoil our holiday but it...

Very, veray disappointing... never again. - French holidays in Swiss Alps - "All inclusive" doesn't include Wifî - Cludmed "milks" the customer wherever possible - No one single table where a family could play a game with the kids - Lunch is at the hotel. Which means that the ski school starts already at 9:00. At 11:00 the ski group...

Our 3rd trip to Club Med Wengen, and we weren't disappointed! It's a great option for a big group with lots of different skiing levels. We all get great tuition from the fabulous ski school, and then get to meet up again over fabulous food! And what a variety of food - there is something for everyone, from Pizza to...

Infrastructure is OLD. Food is good. But the dining room is VERY NOISY. Given that idea is to spend time on the pistes, the fact that the equipment is old and in serious need of upgrading, is not of much relevance. Service in the bar is great. but the carpet smell drink that was spilt. Despite this, I would go...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the 1930s, wealthy clients who descended on Wengen to enjoy winter sports would take the little rack railway. Club Med(R) established a Village here in 1976 just outside the charming centre, in the heart of the largest massif in the Alps, giving you the opportunity to explore the surrounding mountains, such as Jungfrau while your children can be enjoying a fantastic time at Mini Club Med(R). After a day in the open air, enjoy settling into the cozy lounges of the former Art Deco hotel. ... more   less
