This is the second time I have stayed at the Caprice this year and would not hesitate to stay again. I take all the main aspects of The Caprice - room comfort, quality of the food, customer service as a given - they are all superb, but am always delighted with the stunning view from my room across the valley,...

It was our first time staying at the Hotel Caprice in Wengen. While the rooms are rather average for a luxury hotel, the service and the staff made the experience just wonderful! One small example of their hospitality...we needed to check out early in order to catch the first train back into the valley - the staff happily checked us...

After years of visiting Wengen for family holidays, staying in different hotels and chalets in the village, we had the pleasure of staying in the Caprice this week. It is a minute walk from the train station and you are immediately greeted with friendly staff and incredible views! There is no request to big for the staff to help with,...

Caprice is a small hotel just 5 minutes from the main lift and where you can ski back to within about 50m at the end of the day but that's not the main plus. It has a great restaurant where the chef conjures up a varied 5 course dinner after which its time for coffee/chocolate in front of a blazing...

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Hotel Caprice. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and we immediately felt welcome and valued. As mentioned regularly by other reviewers, the view from the south facing rooms is simply spectacular and our room modern and spacious. The food is of a high standard...

Our family stayed at the Hotel Caprice just after New Years. We did not have reservations and the Hotel manager Annamarie took our family of 6 in and gave us a wonderful rate on an outstanding room that faced the Jungfrau. The room was spacious and impeccable, the service warm and helpful, and the atmosphere of the hotel welcoming and...

We spent two nights in the hotel in August 2012, with our children aged 11, 14, and 15. Beautiful location very close to the tram station in Wengen. The tram runs right past the front of the hotel - but don't be put off by that since (a) the tram is electric/modern/quiet, and (b) it ceases operation in the evening...

Apparently this place just changed management. It is not a change for the better. They were inattentive at best, bordering on rude. At first I thought it was us, but we spoke to other guests and they all got the same feeling. Rooms were good, views outstanding, proximity to town was ideal. Restaurant was okay, not great by any means....

Dear Justin, Thank you for your review of Dec 31 on Tripadvisor. I was very disappointed to learn that the service you received during your stay at Hotel Caprice did not meet your expectations on this occasion. As one of the leading hotels in Wengen I take a complaint of this nature very seriously, and as such your comments, both...

We spent a week at the Caprice on a family holiday in August. Its in a fabulous location for exploring Wengen, the town and surroundings. The rooms were large and comfortable with amazing views of the Jungfrau and Silberhorn. We had 4 days of hot weather and clear views to really make the most of it all too. The view...

We stayed 3 nights in mid September. Everything from check-in to departure works fast and smooth. Hotel Caprice is part of "Small Luxury Hotel" group which I had experience with one of their outlets in Greece. Decor is contemporary and simple. I particularly impressed with setting of the lounge area - which is a common area - for reading, relax,...
