Re half pension or half board at the hotel Baren. The breakfast is continental and cooked self serve. The evening meal is fixed four course silver service and yes it is available seven days a week ie including Sunday. Good value when booking a room to book half pension as the hotel Baren is one of the best restaurants in Wengen. Ps the wine selection is excellent but not cheap.

There is no road access to Wengen and is only accessible by train from Lauterbrunnen. You must leave your car in Lauterbrunnen. The first exit on the left after the “Lauterbrunnen” sign will take you to the multi storey car park which is linked to the train station.
From the Wengen train station to the Hotel Bären
You will find taxis waiting at the train station in Wengen, otherwise we are only a five minute walk away.
Opposite the train station you will see the Silberhorn hotel, walk past it downhill, past the COOP (supermarket) and through the tunnel under the railway. The road will bring you right to the Hotel Bären. We are in a quiet part of Wengen about 400 m from the train station, downhill on the right hand side of the road.
