Situated within a parklike, quiet garden, located in the centre of Interlaken, Maison Bergdorf is a chalet villa built in 1897. Recently renovated and furnished with an eclectic mix of antique, modern and contemporary furniture and artworks, it still breathes the charm of the early 20th century. The Maison Bergdorf offers several individually designed double and single rooms and you are welcome to use the three ground floor parlours, equipped with cosy sofas, armchairs, a writing desk and tables. Cuddle up in front of the open fireplace or use the library to swap a book. There are also two beautiful huge verandas, a covered terrace and the wild romantic garden, in which you may roam.

Maison Bergdorf was a pretty example of those old wooden chalet buildings. I have no idea how old it is. It has those enormous eaves overhanging the building. There was a nice backyard. And a first floor

a wonderful place with very lovely people. stay there, enjoy the house, the garden. you wanna stay the whole day in your room, they are made with so much love for the detail. the living room is cosy, full of books and art. in the garden are so many places to stay. love it.

We absolutely loved our three days at Maison Bergdorf. The inn is located on a secluded street, a brief walk to town and Interlaken Ost station. The room decor was lovely and our morning breakfasts were peaceful on the back patio. Bea, our host, was attentive and accommodating throughout our stay. We hope to visit again soon.

Everything was great. The city center is just a walk away. Bea is an excellent host. She recomended some activities and she even prepared a small box lunch because we left the hotel before breakfast. We will return in our next trip.

We loved the interior and the architecture of the somewhat hidden villa Maison Berghof. It is a nice, stylish bubble in the touristic area that Interlaken has become. I felt as if I didn't want to leave the place, with an interesting library and beautiful wild garden. The host is extremely helpful and gives spot-on tips during your stay.

We arrived at Mason Bergdorf weary from recent travels. The tranquil garden and quiet bedroom was a huge relief after the bustle, noise and heat of our recent locations. We left restored and relaxed. Bea is a wonderful host and has great suggestions which she tailors to her guests’ interests. We would love to return!

Fantastic house, beautiful interior, great attention to detail, and great hosts! The location is hidden and, therefore, tranquil. A wild, beautiful garden surrounds a vast terrace. The bathrooms are spacious and the rooms very appealing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maison Bergdorf. By entering the house we immediately felt welcome. Our host Bea was really friendly, the house is nicely decorated with thoughtful touches, the rooms are super cozy and the breakfast with fresh baked bread is yummy! Did I already mention the garden with all its wonderful trees, flowers and sunbeds? We can highly recommend Maison Bergdorf to anyone that is visiting Interlaken and is looking for a oasis while exploring Interlaken and its surroundings.
