Nice hotel on the main road of Grindelwald at a 10 min walking distance from Grindelwald railway station. Spectacular views of the Alps from the balcony. Room was neat and clean and the front office staff were helpful. Breakfast is functional. WiFi works fine. No toiletries provided, though there were enough bath towels. Free parking is very limited, though they...

The location was great! In the middle of the town center. The ski bus stop right in front of the door, a little supermarket next door and the "First Bahn" was just around the corner. Breakfast was good (if a little same-same) and the staff very helpful. We were even able to use a room to shower and get changed...

We spent 3 wonderful nights here in October. Perfect for our needs. Wonderful location. Very clean . Breakfasts were European in nature with more than enough choices. Staff were Wonderful and bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. Our room had a private balcony with an incredible Eiger view. We would not stay anywhere else upon our return.

My family was in Eiger room which has huge living room, 1 separate room and nice bathroom with glass ceiling. You don't need a light in bathroom because of glass ceiling during daytime. And there is a fireplace in the living room. I couldn't use it because it was early autumn. 4 beds and 1 baby bed were in the...

Stayed in the Eiger apartment. It was very cozy, and the view outside the balcony is breathtaking. The kitchen is well equipped; they even got the fondue set! Conveniently located, it's just around 5-10 min walk from Coop, train station and cable station to First.

stayed the night at this hotel. Friendly service. good room with balcony facing the mountain. Outside is a bus stop at which a group of 15 young men had a jolly good time between 01:00 and 02:00, but that was ok, eventually some taxi picked them up and once again silence. The hotel has a garage which was convenient as...

Less than ten minute walk from the train station. Warm and cosy, we had a corner front room with a balcony facing the Eiger. Decent breakfast and having the bus stop right in front of the hotel was handy. Walking distance to the cable car lift to go up to the First. Good value hotel!

This apartment was ideal for our family group consisting of six adults and three children all under three. The large, spotless apartment gave us great flexibility and the views from the balcony were stunning. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful whilst we were there and throughout the booking process with our many queries! The only negative was the kitchen,...

When my family and I visited Switzerland this April we had the most lovely time. The manager was extremely kind and helped us if we had any problems. The hotel is a short walk from the station. There is a mini golf right opposite the hotel. The room - 'Apartment First' is huge and has all the facilities you want....

We visited this hotel three years ago and we came to stay here again in April because we loved it so much. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the train station. You get a breathtaking view of Mount Eiger from this hotel. Their breakfast has a wide variety of options to choose from. The hotel provided us...
