Robert & Monica were charming hosts. Made a world of difference. The Hotel is simple but comfortable and clean. everything you could want on a budget for skiing. I got lucky with advance booing to secure #1, a balcony single room with spectacular views across the valley to the Eiger. Breakfasts were ample and enjoyable. The single room was small...

This hotel is an easy five min walk from the train station, but the rooms are terribly small for their price . It's run by a family I guess and they are very friendly. Breakfast was good . The mountains on one side with their spectacular splendor will surely take your breath away. But again I reiterate, the rooms are...

Monica and Robert are just lovely; you nearly feel like a part of their family. Right in the middle of Grindelwald with everything in easy reach. Perfect location from which to get out and about.... Traditional, a real feel of Switzerland.

A great family owned hotel right in the center of Grindlewald. When we look for hotels we focus on those that are run by friendly and warm people who make you feel at home. The owners, Monica and Robert – made us feel right at home. They have a beautiful small place with rooms that look right out over the...

Excellent location. Very well equipped en-suite room, plenty of wardrobe space, decent sized desk with a chair, balcony with an amazing view of the north face of the Eiger. Very clean and tidy. Good WiFi, free parking (We drove from Zurich in a rented mini-bus). Excellent breakfast. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This was my...

Stayed for 2 nights...beautiful view of the alps, clean rooms and quiet hotel. Family run hotel and owners were very accommodating. Very good breakfast and convenient location for walking to train station. Easy walking to nearby shopping and restaurants as well. If we are ever in Switzerland again we will definitely look them up!

Really friendly helpful staff. Nice and comfortable, if a little basic. Breakfast buffet was small, but satisfying. Excellently located in the center of Grindlewald - only a few minutes from the mountain train and Gondola.

Centrally located, 5min from train station, 5min from the slopes, Hotel Tschuggen is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast! South-facing rooms get a closeup of the Eiger. Robert and his helpful, kind and hard working team of 3 made our stay impressively delightful. Homemade breakfast buffet included in your stay is a real highlight I woke up early for every day....

We stayed in one of the Eiger facing rooms early September 2016 and it was perfect. The room was a little on the smaller side but it wasn't a big deal. We had amazing views of the Eiger out the window. It was so pretty I kept the curtains open to see the mountains first thing in the morning. A...
