For us the most important: The immense kindness (and professionalism of course) of all the staff. There is not a place in the hotel where we were not greeted with a real smile, a friendliness, an unfailing, yet almost “friendly” politeness. We would like to mention the reception staff, the baggage handler, the management, the restaurant staff, the spa staff, and the cleaning staff.
Even their outfits are admirable, chic and relaxing at the same time! Everyone seemed happy to see us!!
A special mention for the concierge, Olivier, who magically appeared whenever we needed it, telling us exciting anecdotes and advising us perfectly. Um man passionate about his profession, his region and his heritage.
The cuisine is delicious, light, surprising and refined, and the wine list sublime: It is impossible not to find the bottle that will please us.
The room and its view of the mountains was large and tastefully decorated. This good taste is found everywhere in the hotel down to the last detail: The plaid for example that was proposed to my wife during a terrace dinner when the air was cool, was beautiful! Just like the countless bouquets of flowers that can be found everywhere.
The large bathroom and cosmetics are perfect.

The moment I was picked up at the train station from the concierge was the beginning of my magical experience. I chose the elegant yet casual hotel because of the simplicity of a country estate in a park setting and the elegance of luxury hotel and spa. We spent a magnificent week at the Grand Bellevue, with priority given to extremely kind staff who take great care of you, which gives it a family atmosphere despite the size of the hotel, the catering is of a high standard and of very good quality, from breakfast to dinner we enjoyed ourselves, the waitresses and waiters will always make you feel good with a smile. The spa is one of the most beautiful in Europe with its 3000 m2 where you have free access to the swimming pools, sauna, hamam etc… just a small downside, too bad the treatments are overpriced compared to all the other palaces we have could do in the world. A little nod to our luxury concierge Olivier speaking 17 languages, a bible for this palace, he will give you places to visit or restaurants to discover in the Gstaad region, we were able to ski on the glacier with lots of snow , allow 20 minutes from the hotel to get there by car, but the comfort of being able to ski March April without any problem. Gstaad is our favorite town in Switzerland, but it is not for everybody and especially not for busloads of tourists or teenage ski Bumbs. It has several 5-star hotels all of which are different and live up to their ranking. The hotel Le Grand Bellevue is excellently located on the edge of the promenade shopping street featuring many of the highest end luxury boutiques. Most of its rooms have unobstructed mountain views. While the hotel is not air conditioned Gstaad is high enough that it generally cools down at night so that the temperature is pleasant with assistance from a fan that the hotel gladly provides. Since the hotel is located on a quiet and large piece of property, noise with open windows at night is not an issue. It is not a late night party scene. The countryside looks like the Swiss version of what I imagine Aspen looked like 50 years ago, but many of the traditional Swiss chalets have state-of-the-art subterranean amenities. Again the staff here was top notch, personable and knew who we were. Hiking trails are nearby and picturesque.

We went to the Grand spa du Bellevue on Wednesday August 9, 2023 and the welcome was impeccable. We were welcomed by Barbara in the morning, who is very sweet and friendly, which already gives us a feeling of well-being from the moment we enter the spa. We were able to enjoy all the facilities, such as the different sauna, hammam, jacuzzis and the swimming pool before receiving a fantastic massage, by the therapists Georgina who massaged me and Émilia who massaged my friend. They are both very attentive, concerned about our well-being and professional. The pressure of the massages was perfect and very adapted to our request. A big thank you to them for this moment of generosity. We also had various contacts with the receptionists Yvanna and Elena who are very smiling, warm and dedicated. Thank you very much to them who helped make our day perfect. It's not the first time I've been there to enjoy the spa, and everything is always perfect. I just came back from a fantastic week at Le Grand Bellevue. Gstaad is a very unique city, with some very traditional hotels. But I if you are looking to a place that can combine the elegance of a true 5 star hotel with the simplicity of warm human relations you should look no further and book your stay at Le Grand Bellevue. In the rooms, important to mention the outstanding bathrooms and the fantastic space for clothes. The Lounge is a great place to a backgammon game, read a book or, after 4pm, enjoy really good live music in a intimist environment. The Bar is a great place to catch up before dinner, with excellent cocktails and the option to ask for plates from their Japanese restaurant (their kept secret on S1!), which attract also a lot of the elegant people that have houses in Gstaad. The Spa is the best in town, with one of the best hotel saunas I had ever been. The restaurant, Leonardo's, is a special chapter. Great, really great, food and the best service you can find in town. By the way, this a characteristic of the hotel, from the fantastic Head Concierge, Olivier to every single employee of the hotel, you will few the real differentiation of a genuine and warm people treatment. The difference between a palace and a 5* is what we experienced by changing our habits to come and spend the weekend at the Grand Bellevue instead of our usual 5* in Gstaad.
The Grand Bellevue is a palace! A real ! One like there are probably 5 or 6 in Switzerland and around fifty in the world. Everything is perfect. Everything is luxury, calm and voluptuousness.
The places are superb of course, perfectly arranged, magnificently decorated, the rooms are perfect and the SPA absolutely magnificent and relaxing with its route through different spaces that you can't leave because you feel so good there.
But the real difference is the details and above all the quality of the staff. Not only are there a lot of employees, so everything runs smoothly, but above all they are absolutely exceptional in class, kindness, quality and helpfulness! From the first to the last second you feel good, like at home (better than at home) and everyone is there only to anticipate your slightest desire... Valet, baggage handlers, Frontline agents Desk, concierge, manager, waiters, spa employees (my wife told me she had the best hot stone massage of her life), plus everyone you don't see, are truly fantastic!!! And this exceptional quality without a false note is only found in rare establishments in the world!
Well done and thank you to everyone. We now have a new favorite hotel in Gstaad and we will be back soon!

We spent 4 days at the Grand Bellevue in Gstaad in August 2024. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in. First the staff is extremely nice: always willing to help with a smile. The ambassador guest, Olivier Desbois, who speaks 17(!) languages, was particularly helpful: advising us on treks in the mountains, reserving tickets for a concert and discussing life in general. The atmosphere of the hotel is cosy and relaxed with many amenities available: swimming pool, sauna, gym, massage, private cinema, library, etc. Our room was large, sunny with a great view on the mountains surrounding Gstaad. The breakfast was extremely varied with both a buffet and an "Ă la carte" menu served by friendly and smiling hosts.

Le Grand Bellevue is exceptional. Our family stayed at the resort for 6 days and loved every second of our stay. It's a rare find in that everything about this hotel is amazing - quality of the concierge, rooms, location, spa & amenities, dining, cocktails. On top of that we brought our two children, both under the age of 4 and they were treated with the utmost care by the hotel and staff. Everything from their meals to adventures in the playroom, pool and movie theatre were spectacular. We hope to visit again soon and make this a recurring family vacation!

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your question. We do not have a Tesla-specific charging docks, however we do have multiple outlets in our indoor garage where many of our guests with Teslas or other electronic vehicles have charged their cars without any issues. Our indoor garage is chargable at CHF 25 per night.

The hotel has three restaurants - the main classical restaurant, a sushi bar and a Swiss Fondue restaurant - Le Petit Chalet. It is very close to two supermarkets and the promenade where there are many more restaurants and shops. It is the only five star hotel with easy access to the promenade, all the others see up a steep hill.

Having spent many wonderful summers in Gstaad, I would highly recommend the Bellevue. The service and amenities are superb. The location perfect. It's an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants. As for car rental, I suggest EuroCar. Book online in the U.S. Great value. Gstaad is an easy and scenic drive from Geneva. My favorite restaurant is in Rougemont - a 20 minute drive. You will find the best fondue at Le Cerf. The best pizza at Arc et Ciel and fabulous everything at The Olden.
There are more places to choose from in the Gstaad area.
