I loved my stay at this rustic Jailhouse, rooms where basic but, remained original, bathroom was simple but sufficient. Loved my stay happily come back, looking at friends rooms they differ some stunning larger rooms, I was in a small twin room

Stayed here on a tour, place was disgusting and dirty. it has the potential to be a fabulous experience but needs really good clean! All of the rooms seemed to be dirty and have faults. Our bathroom was horrendously filthy and the toilet didn't have a flush button so you literally had to reach into to cistern and pull the...

If you're staying here for the quirky and unusual aspect because it's been transformed from an old jail, don't even bother - The novelty wears off instantly. *Before I go any further, this hotel was booked with the tour group we were on, so we didn’t get a say in the matter unfortunately.* To start with, there are no elevators...

Look it's not a five star hotel, but our room. Was warm and clean and tidy. It was a bit cramped but that's part of the novelty. There was WiFi and the food we got there was lovely! We were part of the contiki and we were all happily surprised as out hotel the night before in Germany was terrible!...

Unfortunately was booked into this hotel by a tour group I was with. I was incredibly disgusted, mortified and did not sleep for a minute the entire time in the 48 hours I was stuck there (unfortunately couldn't find another hotel nearby on such short notice). It was dirty, smelled, had no lifts, was described as a "cultural experience" because...

So this hotel would have been cool as it is a novelty type hotel however... The food was cold, ice cream was melted, salad was old, rooms smelt, shower had mould and the club next door hosted a concert type thing and the hotel smelt of cigarettes for the next day. Location is good but that's about all.

Was absolutely terrifed of this hotel. Insisted that we sleep with the lights on. It's noisy, crowded, and the rooms aren't great, but it is also affordable. It's hard to find affordable in Lucerne, so this worked just fine.

I can barely believe this place calls itself a hotel. My wife and I stayed here with a group in late October for a couple of nights. We checked in and proceeded to drag our bags up the stairs. I actually thought my wife was joking when she turned into what looked like a broom closet. When we got into...

the very basis interior was expected and was in fact a real experience. But the condition of the shower was simply unacceptable. never been in a hotel with such moldy shower and shower curtain. Don't think that was worth the experience, so sadly to say, great concept but currently very poorly managed from a cleanliness perspective.
