The hotel was perfectly convenient for a single person as myself who came to Luzern just for one night, the time to visit an art exhibition.
The room was very simple, no tv, no bathroom (located at the same stair for all the rooms. But it was totally clean at the 4th floor with elevator. The staff is totally friendly and efficient, the breakfast is excellent and included in the price, and you stay in a very quiet street, 15 minutes of tte historical centre and railways’ station.
Amend all that for 84 Swiss francs… like a joke in such a touristic spot in one of the most expensive countries all over the world.
And the exhibition of works of David Hockney was really fantastic.
So try it , it’s worth

Not the type of hotel I usually use in Lucerne, but the result was satisfactory for the price. This hotel has very basic facilitites : no en-suite bathroom (only a basin), simple and unchanging breakfast, no facilities for beverages preparation either in the room or in a common area (problem to me as I was locked in my room the week-end by a cold).
However the staff is very nice and the housekeeping ladies keep the whole place stunningly clean.
Another plus is the agreeable location which is in a quiet neighbourhood just beyond the noisy and frantic Pilatusplatz and Pilatusstrasse up to the main station. The old city is 5-10 minutes walk.

Would recommend this hotel. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious with a table and chairs as well as beds. The shared bathrooms were very clean with lockable shower cubicles with an area for changing inside. Quiet location yet only few minutes walk from train station/centre of Lucerne. Breakfast had a good selection. Will stay here again :)

Two of us got a triple room. It’s just nice for us but it will be squeezy for 3. There’s a sink in our room and the pipe made funny loud noises. Hair dryer provided in the room. Shared bathroom and toilets are modern and clean. Appreciate the free breakfast as food is so expensive in Switzerland. No toiletries in the bathroom - bring your own. Many buses to and fro and just a few stops to Lucerne train station and old town. It’s possible to walk if you like - about 2 over km. Bus rides are free for tourists - show your hotel booking if there’s a bus conductor.

Hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood away from busy roads but easy to walk from bus stop. Overall this is a nice budget hotel I’d recommend

This hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the train station. We also had room 401 and it was huge. It was like a small apartment with our own private washroom. There is a school I think near by because we could hear a band practicing . It was nice. This room had a separate room for the closet and bathroom. There are no tv's at least in our rooms but I am not sure if all the rooms are like that. There is a large Tv room and a room for playing cards etc. The breakfast was included and was amazing. Great selection. This hotel is in an area with apartment buildings and is not right in the heart of the city. Doors are locked at 9pm and they tell you that you need to have your hotel key to open up the door. Very nice staff. Would stay again. A very big thank you to Stephen and Patrick for all their help.

Excellent hotel Simple, clean, perfect location and friendly. Reasonable price. Hotel is in a very quite residential area of the city. No sound pollution at all. On the top it is 10 minutes walk from the central railway station. We enjoyed spending a night in this hotel. Only missing part was that no TV in the room. We stayed in room 401. Big room with double bed and attached shower. Room is plenty of light and fresh air.

This is not a typical hotel. It was previously a staff quarter so the design & layout is different. However it is a decent & clean property. Was unable to find something reasonable near lake area in peak July so this was decent find. Value for money & clean. Short walk to train station. Away from touristy buzz.

Breakfast was nice. No ceiling fans but standing fans available. Room was comfortable & basic. Morning reception person was friendly but evening was ok. Diverse guest type from solo to family to work to holiday. Diverse room type available. We were in a triple room with ensuite bathroom & it was decent. Lift available. No restaurant service except breakfast.

Don't go if you are looking for a hotel style stay with holiday or family vibe. Think of it as a modern hostel with quiet neighbourhood. Clean comfortable & safe. Value for money in Lucerne.

No regret. Nice find.

It was my first visit in Lucerne and I stay at this beautiful Hotel. It's just few minutes walk from the Lucerne Train Station. Check in was very fast, staff was kind and courteous. I love the free chocolates at the Lobby. The room I book is really spacious with great view of the city. Breakfast in also great love the hot beverages. The hotel is walking distance to most Attractions in the city. If I'll be able to visit again the City of Lucerne I definitely stay again at this Hotel.

Be sure you understand that this is an old school, shared bathroom/shower property. We missed that in the booking but on arrival the lady at the desk was amazingly welcoming and started our whole stay off on a great footing. The property is very CLEAN and well run. Sleep quality was actually some of the best we have had in a long time in a European property. Location is perfect...10 min walk to the train and easy walk to the Old Town and Lake. Quite perfect along with a great breakfast
