I have already spent a few nights at the Skilodge several times and will probably do so again in the future. The people are just incredibly friendly and helpful. Some hot water for a tea in the evening in a thermos? No problem! The breakfast is rich and of great quality. 5 different juices, super muesli bar with warm porridge, local coffee, honey milk, various breads & croissants - what more could you want?! The rooms almost all have a breathtaking view of the mountains and I have so far always been lucky with the bathroom, they were always very generous and very nice. For me, clearly the number 1 when it comes to a time out with charm and cool atmosphere.

My daughter just had her wedding at Ski Lodge Engelberg. We had guests coming in from all over Europe and US, and so many of them said it was the best wedding ever!!!!! The folks at Ski Lodge Engelberg could not be any friendlier and accommodating. They truly made us all feel so welcome. From the accommodations, to the food, to the service, and the decor they did an absolutely awesome job!!!! We highly recommend Ski Lodge Engelberg for any event. We plan on visiting again just for a holiday.

Family member wedding. There for 2 nights. Very clean. Not typical for American accommodations (I.e. bathroom sink in main room, small shelf for night stand) so took a little adjusting. That said, the room we had (36) has a bathroom, shower with a door to a balcony and an kind of adjoining room that works well for a family. The highlight of this place was the service which is 6 out of 5 stars. Hardest working people I’ve seen in a long time. And despite that always super nice and helpful. Breakfast offered (not sure if typical or part of the wedding package) typical of European standards and good coffee. Grounds are beautiful. Very close to the gondola station for Mount Titlis. Right near the train station and nice little town. I think typically a ski lodge type accommodation but really nice in summer too. Probably a great weekend spot for a couple. This place is the real deal. A true lodge, Where are you feel welcome and comfortable immediately. The Location is amazing. The food is over the top, so much more than I was expecting. Very creative menu, and the meal if anything surpassed the menu. The breakfast is amazing. The bar is a fun and active place. On Tuesday night, it’s trivia night. The whole place erupts in fun and joy.

This is a gem of a hotel. A group of 5 of us travelled together for a 4 night skiing getaway. The hotel staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly, the food was really, really good and the rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. Right beside the train station, and a short walk to the main Titlis lift, the hotel is in a really convenient location.

Excellent place. The service from all the staff is great. We strayed in Room 22 which is was good. Lovely food. Great breakfast. Again all the staff are super kind and helpful. Bathrooms are good in the rooms. Standard rooms are small so if you like a big room make sure you ask before you book. We loved it.

Loved staying here. It was great. All the people were super friendly, great location, room and beds comfortable. Breakfast was nice and overall we will def be back! We also ate at the restaurant and it was fabulous. My o Lu comment would be that if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this might not be your option as the bar is very popular so it’s noisy. However on the otherhand, the ambiance is fantastic and great apres :)

Clean, simple, modern room with very comfortable beds, pillows and duvets. Opposite of train-station and easy walking distance to Titlis lift. Swedish owned & many of staff and guests were Swedes. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great food! Nice breakfast buffet (but no hot foods) Popular place for drinks and dinner - so not the best place for a quiet afternoon.
