I think people are being a little harsh with this place. The staff is very helpful... yes the tv is small and old and yes the hotel has probably not been renovated in 20 years, but the beds are comfy, the room is clean. Hardly likely one bothers with a tv when on vacation. It has a mini bar, full... More

1 nights stay here was enough and fortunately cost was covered by Swiss Airlines which had cancelled our homeward flight due to snow at Heathrow. At published rates - grossly overpriced. I have stayed in better 2 star hotels so how does this rate 4! Rather seedy back street establishment that really struggled to cope with an influx of guests... More

The reception is drab. The staff were not interested. The first room I had the wardrobe fell over. The second room had the safe 6ft inside the wardrobe and the door kept falling open so had to duck each time i opened the wardrobe door. Plug sockets not working properly. Far too hot in the rooms. Breakfast poor, just passable.... More

This hotel operates illegally. The hotel was so dreadful I had to negotiate a discount (see others comments for details on the poor quality). I recevied a bill to this effect and my card was charged the discounted price. Later that afternoon, after I'd left the hotel, they charge the extra amount back to my card without authorisation. This has... More

I found a good deal on this hotel on the internet and thought it sounded okay. 4 star, free wifi etc. It was terrible. The room smelt of old air-freshener, the paint was peeling in the bathroom and the place was just so very dated and old-fashioned. The over whelming impression of the hotel from the lobby to the breakfast... More

The air condition didn't work. The TV was from the last century with only two channels. The pillow didn't look like a pillow, until I realized that it had to be a pillow. I wondered were they found the paintings?? There was a lamb without a switch. I really recommend this Hotel for many reasons... Incredible and Outstanding !!!! But... More

One of the hottest days of the year and the a/c wasn't working. Went to complain and the staff were yelling at each other and eventually they said "oh sorry it does that sometimes and it won't be fixed until tomorrow". The TV has 4 free channels which isn't a big thing but still annoying consideringy friends' 1 star room... More

Rooms are small. The hotel appears to be used by African refugees. Room temperature at 5.30 in the morning was 26C, too warm for most northern Europeans. Aircon not working. Bathroom clean but smells of the sewer prevail. Breakfast was the most basic ever experienced in a continental hotels - no cooked meats or fish. Two choices of cereal and... More

Though the location is quite good, close to the Lake and to Parc des Eaux-Vives, the rooms are really small. Moreover on the 1st floor balconies block most of the day light. Breakfasts are rather basic, the bathroom requires a good deal of planning to get in and out as it is, as you guessed probably already, very tiny. To... More
